Krabi Resort

This was the worse hotel I have ever checked in. We got there at 12pm and I asked if I could upgrade and the staff did not make any offers or efforts. Then once the room was ready we found the facility a bit old and not update but that part is still ok. The elevator smelled like mold and old room. There was not a bed frame but a bunch of “ply wood” put together as a bed frame. Most hotel sheets are white this one was bege looking not so clean. We went on an evening tour and when we got back around 10 pm my daughter showered and went to bed when she pull the sheets a cockroach came out of the sheets, she climbed on the bed and soon after another one started to run around the room. I called front desk who took 10 min to come and the guy looked at me like it was nothing. We immediately packed and left the hotel and never looked back. The hotel management did not contact me to apologize or nothing also they refused my refund.

Had a suite hotel. The rooms were outworn and there was a very high humidate despite the airconditioning was always on. It also had a smell of sewer most of the time. All my clothes in my suitcase were moisty and nothing could get dry inside. Even the hotel phone rang multiples times, even in the night, but the lobby couldn’t identify why. The best thing was the massage lady, very nice and gentle and even came with mango and bananas for free for my child. The resort is in walking distance to many shops nearby and has own private Beach, which is nice. The pool areas are also good. And breakfast is variable.

Clean, beautiful property. I booked it for my wife’s graduation party with her friends. They felt safe.

Room ac was not working but room look so gorgeous I would come back but not that room F3 was the room I got a new one now see what it is next 2 nights

I recently stayed at Krabi Resort and, unfortunately, the experience did not meet expectations for the price and standard being advertised. The main concern is the level of staff training and responsiveness. Basic guest handling seems to need improvement, as service requests were not followed through. We reported issues with the room air conditioning and fan, but no one attended to check or resolve them. The air conditioning itself was ineffective during the day, despite being set to low temperatures, and only became slightly cooler at night. The restaurant experience was also below expectations. Breakfast options were very limited and lacked variety, especially considering the charges. There were minimal multi-cuisine choices, with most offerings restricted to basic Thai dishes and omelettes. Overall, the resort has potential in terms of location, but service quality, maintenance response, and F&B offerings need significant improvement to justify the pricing. At its current standard, it does not provide good value for money.

The staff were amazing and very accommodating. We will be returning again!

Clean, quiet resort with excellent service and friendly staff. They offer transportation to and from the airport. It is right on the beach and near shops and restaurants. We would return there.

Extremely disappointing stay at Krabi Resort — definitely not returning. We arrived at around 9:00 AM, fully understanding that official check-in is at 3:00 PM. However, despite rooms clearly being available, we were still forced to wait nearly 6 hours, which felt completely unreasonable for a resort that markets itself as a premium beachfront stay. The resort officially lists itself as a beachfront hotel in Ao Nang (krabiresort.net) Honestly, it felt like guests were intentionally made to wait so they would spend money on overpriced island-hopping tours and other activities. The staff were not welcoming at all — quite the opposite. They were unfriendly, rude, and lacked basic hospitality. No smile, no effort to assist, and definitely not the level of service you expect from a resort. The room was another huge disappointment. The pillows smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, making it very uncomfortable to sleep. Cleanliness and room freshness should be a basic standard. Another major issue was transportation within the property. Every time we needed to go somewhere, we had to call the front desk for a shuttle/cart, and the wait was often very long, leaving us standing outside in the hot Krabi weather. What surprised us most was the lack of a proper welcome experience. No welcome drink, no cold towel, no refreshing gesture after a long trip — something many resorts in Thailand normally offer.

The resort is beautiful and the staff are great. We had a room with its own private plunge pool which was amazing one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. Location is perfect you can get anywhere on foot locally. Staff very friendly and helpful. The private beach is there if you want it but to be fair not very nice compared to other parts but that is no reflection on the hotel. The breakfast was plentiful if you want Asian food for breakfast there is a lot of it. Limited to other items. Would definitely stay at hotel again

Most everything was perfect and the staff were always super wonderful. A couple minor areas for improvement would be that the air conditioner in our unit did not respond to any thermostat controls so every other hour you were either freezing or baking . which sucked while trying to sleep. Also the food at the resort could deal with a look at ways to improve the quality and selection. BUT over all, we loved walking around the grounds, seeing the reptiles, bats, birds etc. We found the staff to be great. The bed was comfortable. We found the perfect place to spend each and every morning sitting above the beach. It was a wonderful experience and we will likely return to this resort in the future (Our unit was M45 in the back of the property)

Our room was facing the smaller pool. The room was ok. Rooms were not cleaned most days til nearly 5pm. If you want chill or have nap. Made it hard because you know they will be coming to clean. We also found the door sign to clean the room later in the week. Not sure if that would have got the room cleaned earlier in the day. We didn't spend much time at the pools. They were very clean. They had bars at them as well. We preffered the beach. Lots of shade with recliners. Bar was close by with the restaurant. If your ordering food it takes a while to come. The beers and sodas were not to cold. They use the same fridge for everything so it is opening a lot. A seperate fridge for the beer would fix that. The breakfast had lots of options.Very satisfied with the selection. Staff were very pleasant and accomodating. Overall Krabi Resort gave us everything we needed. Very quiet. Outside the Resort are lots if food options not far away and shopping.

The Deluxe Pool room was large and clean (our attendant was great) and the shower was really good. The AC only worked when you had the key in the slot (to turn on the electricity), so it would warm up when you were out, but cooled down fairly quickly. The pools were nice and the water was clean.

Entrance to room too dark. Bolt driver afraid to enter property for pick up due to taxi cartel. Lots of property is disarray. Needing repairs. Food is disappointing at hotel. Beach is nice.

I did not visit the pool and no I did not have an ocean view
