Location & How to Get to Bali Zoo

Bali Zoo is located on Jalan Raya Singapadu Batuan, Sukawati, Gianyar, Bali, about 6 km from Denpasar, which takes around 30 minutes by car from Kuta. If you are coming from Ubud, the journey will take approximately 20 minutes. To reach Bali Zoo, you can use a private vehicle, an online taxi, or rent a car or motorbike.

1. By Private Vehicle

Follow Jalan Raya Ubud - Gianyar and look for the signs leading to Bali Zoo. If you are coming from Ngurah Rai International Airport, take the exit toward Ngurah Rai Toll Road/Jalan Tol Bali Mandara and continue straight on the toll road. After exiting towards Denpasar/Sanur, follow the route leading to Jl. Nusa Dua Bandara Ngurah Rai via Mandara Toll Road/Benoa Toll Road. Continue driving straight along Jl. Bypass Ngurah Rai, then turn right onto Jl. Raya Singapadu, where you will find Bali Zoo on your right.

2. By Public Transportation

For those using public transportation, there are a few options. From Denpasar, you can take a bus to Gianyar, then continue your journey with an ojek (motorcycle taxi) or a regular taxi to reach Bali Zoo. If you are coming from Ngurah Rai International Airport, take an airport taxi to Terminal Ubung, then hop on a Trans Gianyar bus on the Gianyar - Ubud route. Get off at Gianyar Station, and from there, you can take an ojek or taxi to reach Bali Zoo.
