Njana Tilem memiliki koleksi patung kayu dan batu yang sangat menarik. Sangat layak untuk dikunjungi. Guide tour yang sangat ramah dan bersedia menjelaskan setiap pertanyaan. Dari awal masuk, sudah terasa kemegahannya. Ada restoran India di dekatnya. Love this place!

About Njana Tilem Museum

Dedicated to displaying the excellence of Balinese wood carvings, Njana Tilem Museum in Ubud mainly presents selected pieces of two great Balinese master carvers: Ida Bagus Njana and Ida Bagus Tilem, and also unique collections of Balinese antiques, paintings and masks. Ida Bagus Njana and Ida Bagus Tilem are father and son who revolutionized Balinese carvings.

While Njana embraced the change to modernity with simple carving lines that depicted Balinese daily life, Tilem carried on the transformation by using the naturally distorted form of wood to express human emotions in a more abstract form. Whether you're an art enthusiast or not, a visit to Njana Tilem Museum is a must to see the beautiful display of Balinese woodwork.

BEST Museum in UBUD, (because I really like wood carving). Expensive collections and high art work spoil your eyes. The museum is still quiet because it is a special interest tour, most LOVE if there is a museum with the rules: CAN NOT PHOTOS / VIDEOS, really make visitors enjoy the existing collection. If in Jogja there is Ulen Sentalu, then Ubud has NJANA TILEM. I will definitely return to the Njana Tilem Museum

Probably the best museum trip I’ve taken so far in Bali. The people who works there are very knowledgeable of the arts. They often will tell or explain the stories behind some arts. Couldn’t ask for a better art museum experience.

It was a really tranquil place, we were accompanied by a guide as well. The wood carvings are amazing, I wish that they’d put more background and philosophical story to it. I like it!

Suasana museum yang nyaman ditambah dengan music yang menenangkan. Salah satu koleksi yang istimewa adalah sebuah patung yang pernah ditawar beberapa kali oleh Raja Jordania, namun tidak dilepaskan oleh pemahatnya. Patung itu sekilas seperti ukiran lainnya, namun jika dilihat dari sudut yang berbeda akan terlihat muka yang berbeda. Terdapat 7 sisi berbeda yang bisa dinikmati dari patung tersebut. Saya rekomendasikan bagi pecinta seni.
