How to Enable Location Features on Your Phone for the Best Traveloka App Experience

Enabling the location feature on your phone can provide the best experience on the Traveloka app. By activating the location feature on your phone, you can receive product recommendations based on your location, from the best hotels to nearby attractions or activities.
Here is a step-by-step guide to activating the location feature on Android and iPhone, for the best experience using Traveloka services.

Android Phones
iPhone (iOS)
1Open Settings
  1. Go to Settings on your phone.
  2. Scroll down and find the Security & Location or Location option (the name of this option may vary depending on your Android model and version).
2Enable Location
  1. Tap the Location option.
  2. Enable the location feature by sliding the switch to the ON position.
3Select Location Mode
  1. After enabling location, you can choose your desired location mode.
  2. Tap Mode or Location Method and choose one of the following three options:
    • High Accuracy: Uses GPS, Wi-Fi, and mobile networks to determine the location with high accuracy.
    • Battery Saver: Uses Wi-Fi and mobile networks (does not use GPS).
    • Device Only: Uses GPS only.
4App Location Permissions
  1. Return to the main Settings menu and open Apps & notifications.
  2. Select the Traveloka app.
  3. Tap Permissions, then enable Location permissions.
