What a terrible place to stay . We booked a two week stay on our way home from visiting our Son in New Zealand. The toilet and bath in our room was disgusting and very stained, there was mold on the shower curtain and bath surrounds. As we intended to do a lot of sightseeing and only sleeping there we thought we would put up with it but after the bedding hadn't been changed we had to complain. They sent very ignorant house staff up to change the beds and do a bit of cleaning 🙄. We were in a twin room an after they had left we realized my husband's bed had been made with bedding for a much larger bed and left training on the floor which i thought would be a trip hazard during the night so i remade the bed my self . After my complaint i thought they would put a bit more effort in but to my amazement the bedding wasn't changed again until the day before we left . Some days the toilet, sink and bath weren't even wiped down and no dusting was done in the bedroom until the day before we checked out. The staff on the reception were a bit helpful but they always looked as though everything was a bit of a hassle. MY ADVICE AVOID THIS PLACE .

I booked 4 nights in a twin room to share with my sister. I wish I could upload a photo of our bathroom. The “cream” coloured shower curtain was orange/brown with mould/dirt for the bottom 12 inches. The bath taps were trickling constantly and wouldn’t turn off. The enamel was worn off the bath so there were grey patches in the bottom of the bath. There was a glass shelf positioned just above the sink, at exactly the right position to whack your head on when you clean your teeth. The hairdryer only worked for 30 seconds at a time before it over heated and stopped. The tap was so low in the sink that you couldn’t fill the kettle unless you used the teeny tiny cup to decant into it. Our beds were on castors and when you sat up in bed they skated across the floor and your pillows fell down behind the bed. We asked for a change of room as the bathroom was unusable, we were told no, the place is fully booked. Someone did come to change the shower curtain but it wasn’t a new one, just a used one that had been washed, it was almost clean. Unfortunately, I had already booked another 4 nights in a queen room as my partner was joining me. Our new room was identical to the first one except we had a queen bed that stayed in place when you moved. The bathroom was a bit better and at least the hairdryer worked. We had another glass shelf the same as the last one, which was just waiting to meet our forehead while cleaning our teeth. Would I stay here again? No , I would not.

Room a bit tired, but bed comfortable. Quiet. Staff very friendly, check in/out easy. Walking distance to Chinatown, Darling Harbour and public transport, opposite the Capitol Theatre.

Location was good. Room service was not good. Our room was never cleaned Beds weren’t done . The basin had a piece of glass. You couldn’t even brush your teeth on top. We have to go down collect towels all the time. for the price I paid I was very disappointed. The bathrooms were to old and the beds kept on rolling.

Overall it was ok but getting the room done was difficult. We would tell the front desk when leaving but 50% of the time the room was not done when we returned. We asked to keep the air conditioning on and they will turn it off !!
