Stayed in King suite with hot tub. Suite was very large and very comfortable. Hotel is 2 block walk to LRT which we took to Commonwealth Stadium to watch football game. We will stay in this hotel when we are back in downtown Edmonton.

Stayed here for one night in order to attend a medical appointment at the Royal Alexandra Hospital. It’s an older hotel but is kept clean and staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. We will stay here again in the future.

I recently stayed at this hotel and at check in I noticed it was hot in the lobby and I mentioned it to the front desk clerk and he said oh it’s because of the unusual high temperatures in the city. I thought that was odd but carried on. We get into our room and it was even hotter in there. We flipped some switches on the AC unit got ready and headed to a concert hoping it would be cooled off when we returned. Well… it was not, it was even hotter. We called down to the front desk and asked if someone could come have a look, the gentleman comes in flips a couple switches and says “ give it 10-15 minutes it will cool down now”. It did not, we boiled all night long. At check out the woman asks “how was your stay?” I said it was terrible and told her how hot it was she responded by telling us how they were upgrading their AC units on the 2nd & 3rd floor and that the AC was not working and she apologized for the inconvenience. So the other staff members lied to us. This is something we should have been informed of at the time of booking or even at check in. Also there was black hair all over the bathroom counter and a hair tie still in the tub. Will not be returning to this location ever!!

Always love staying here for nearby events; staff are always so friendly, and very accommodating. I solo travelled this time and I felt very comfortable, and safe. Always our go to hotel, so conveniently located & just all around great place to stay for an evening or couple of days :) Lots to see and do within walking distance; especially during Oilers season & of course for concerts

The hotel was under some sort of renovation very musty smelling, the lounge had no AC and was like a sauna. Only 1 women doing everything from cook to bartender to sever, she was great but felt very bad for her on a busy concert weekend

I stayed with my husband and two boys and it was a great time! We enjoyed the pool but the pool room was extremely hot. The railings going into the pool burned out hands. I couldn't sit in the hot tub. It was too hot. But we assume it was because it was a heatwave at the time. Breakfast was amazing! We would stay again!

I would strongly caution anyone considering staying at this hotel. During our stay, we were placed in a room with visible mold. After reporting it, we were moved to a second room that also had significant mold. As someone with mold and dust allergies, this caused serious concern, and both my son and I experienced worsening asthma and respiratory symptoms. The most disappointing part of our stay was how management handled the situation. Instead of taking our concerns seriously or finding a reasonable solution, we were told we could leave—even though the city was fully booked and we had already paid over $1,000 for our stay. We were even told it was our fault for not travelling with enough emergency money, which I found completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, after being out all day, we returned to discover the television in our room wasn’t working and appeared to have been damaged before we arrived. Rather than simply addressing the issue, staff documented it in a way that made us feel as though we were being blamed for damage we did not cause. I have worked in hospitality, and this is not how guests should be treated. Cleanliness, safety, and professionalism should be the minimum standard. Instead, we were left feeling dismissed, blamed, and concerned about the health risks of the accommodations. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this property. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and improves its room inspections, maintenance, and response t

Friendly and welcoming staff. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The only concern was the indoor pool seating area was very hot, as all the air condition units back were facing the courtyard section where the pool was located. Would be nice if they can vent that heat out somehow.

Upon arrival we noticed a few junkies hanging along side the building into the parking lot, not a big deal as they kept to themselves but a bit concerning if one had small kids and later on at night. Went into the lobby and was greeted by a nice gentleman and lady which checked us in. The lobby looked like to was under a bit of construction and the restaurant was permanently closed. I do commend they do have decent security in place aa the back entrance requires a key to enter come 11pm as well as the front main door (during concerts not so much as as they were still open at 2am) but you do still need your room key to swipe to gain access to the elevator in order to go to your room which is good, however front desk personal was no where to be found, while hotel guests food delivery service orders sat on the counter making it very easy just to take if a person wanted too. As for the 1st room it was very pleasant as the A/C unit actually worked and room was comfortable, bathroom is outdated and needs a upgrade as when trying to flush the toilet it wouldn't work, counter tops on sink was cracked, beds were comfortable, pillows could have been bigger. The blinds looked like something had been chewing on in this room as well as the second room which brings me to that, second room A/C didn't work extremely humid and hot making for uncomfortable sleeping, maintenance was supposed to come but never did. Have stayed here multiple times in the past and has never been this bad,
