Mae was absolutely wonderful! She was warm, welcoming, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure we had a great stay. She truly made the difference by ensuring everything went smoothly during our daughter’s graduation celebration, which meant so much to our family. Her friendly attitude and exceptional customer service made our experience memorable. The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the washroom layout, but Mae’s outstanding hospitality more than made up for it. Thank you, Mae, for making our stay so enjoyable!

Pros: The room was clean, cozy and eleclec furnished. Centrally located to walk to Richmond Street..very nice walking distance. Cons: Checking in was not easy..not well communicated. Overnite parking restrictions were ridiculous and expensive. The room sink was plugged. The bottom bedsheet kept coming off. The long pillows were difficult for sleeping ..we both woke up with sore necks. Will look for other accommodations next visit based on the cost.

Unfortunately, this hotel did not live up to expectations. While there may be rooms like the advertised pictures, ours was not one of them. No ambience, blank walls, terrible lighting, the ‘courtyard view’ was a dirty walled in empty space. The staff were friendly enough but not knowledgeable and often no one was actually at the front desk. There happened to be festival which closed down the street and made accessing the hotel difficult but no answer when I called or reply to my voicemail, and when we finally arrived, the front desk guy didn’t seem to think it was a big deal. The amenities that were pointed out to us on arrival were juice and candy by the front desk - but no cups and the candy was empty. The location was the only thing that was excellent for our purposes. Overall, not terrible but certainly not what I had hoped for from the pictures and other reviews. I won’t stay there again.

Locating the hotel and obtaining parking is very difficult, especially when they have the only street into the hotel blocked off. Must carry your luggage to and from your parked car 15 minutes. Check in is 3pm. Our room was not ready until 4:30. It makes all the plans you have change due to late availability of room. Room was nice and large as was the bathroom. Beds a bit soft and low to the floor. Room was very quiet.

It’s a real shame to see what this hotel has become! I’ve stayed at the Metro 50 + times over the last few years, it used to be impeccable, the staff was amazing! Now you have an unsupported skeleton staff that hasn’t a clue how to resolve issues. This visit started ok but when we went to the room the floor was not clean. I received a text asking if I wanted the room cleaned and amenities refreshed the next morning to which I replied yes, but no one ever showed up to perform the offered services. Upon checkout, my bill had a $150 property damage charge. I questioned the charge, they informed me there was blood on the bedding which there was, I understood their position, I explained that the blood was due to a fall caused by their uneven, severely deteriorating entryway which I tripped and skinned my knee. I would have told the staff about it, had there been anyone to tell. No night staff. Incidentally we witnessed a lady that works at the plastic surgery office next door trip and fall on the same side walk in the morning. I can’t even articulate how upset I am that the place I used to look forward to staying has deteriorated to this. I am canceling the 4 future reservations I have booked for the summer, will never book again, ensuring everyone knows where NOT to stay in London. I’m still in shock and so very disappointed!! Zule I hope you have the chance to review this, as your staff “do not have contact information” for you when I requested it. This is shameful.

Staff were welcoming and personable. The room was spacious, and well-appointed --- also very open concept. The location was ideal for attending a concert at the Canada Life arena - its literally steps away. Parking was very handy across the street at the Covent Garden underground parking. The PIN locks on the main doors (afterhours) and actual hotel room doors worked well.(Its nice not to worry about a physical key) Really appreciated the "surprise" they left in the fridge. Will gladly do it all over again for the next concert we attend at Canada Life.

Couldn’t get into our room until 40 minutes after posted check in time, but we were offered a free bottle of wine. Room big, clean snd beds good. Room 204 had no outside windows. Staff were very helpful. Because of one way streets it is difficult to navigate to parking lot which is very close by. Parking pass is a good deal but only allows one exit in 24 hours.

We had a King Loft which was very spacious. We were able to control the temperature in the room easily - I've stayed places where that was not the case. Access to the hotel entrance and to the room is digital -- they send you the code when you check in. The location is within walking distance of the Grand Theatre which is why we stayed there. Right across the street is the Covent Garden Market. It poured rain the whole weekend so the Market was handy for breakfast and then for dinner.
