Perfect location within Quebec City, you can park your car and walk to all the nearby landmarks with ease. The rooms are nicely decorated and fully furnished, the heated floors are nice touch. I wouldn’t recommend a room on the ground floor if you aren’t in a mood to party as the adjacent bar can be somewhat loud. The bar itself has a great menu, the staff is nice. The restaurant, Taverne Louise, has a good breakfast menu as well.

Professional bilingual staff who let me continue. French instead of immediately switching to English when they heard my accent. The complimentary cocktails with the king bed room was a wls one surprise.

We originally booked a room with one bed, we then decided we were gonna be 3 people. So i called to upgrade the room. Not only was there an upcharge for a double bed but for the additional person as well. we ended up spending over 150$ more than what was originally billed. If there are two beds in the room and the upgrade was already charged. why are we charging an additional person, this was my first and last time at this hotel, do yourself a favour, and make sure you don’t book here.

Staff were very polite and courteous. They seemed genuinely interested in assisting the customers. Room was decent enough, although the windows can use some work, the wind and outside noise makes into the room pretty easily. Overall a positive experience though.

Great convenient stay for families in the suite. The rooms are quite large, the kitchenette is great, and very clean. The bath amenities are pretty basic and the rooms are a bit industrial and cold. If you are in the suites you do not have immediate access to the main hotel amenities. Would have been nice to have water and coffee makers in the lounge for the suites.

Check-in process was okay, however the hundred dollar per day credit card hold seems a little excessive as we were there for seven days. Requested to change our room after the first night as the lighting from the service station was extremely bright and the curtains were not sufficient to make the room dark enough for sleeping. The reception was able to assist with minimal issues and was helpful. The bed was uncomfortable and in need of replacement. We ended up sleeping on the Murphy bed in our room. This was a much better mattress. Breakfast menu is very limited in selection unless you want to pay additional charges. Omelette, yoghurt, or traditional eggs and bacon are the only options without additional charges. Overall the property met our minimum needs for a stay however at $400 a night it seems a little overpriced, even for peak holiday season.
