The floor was super dirty, and my feet were black after a bit of walking bare-footed. Found a bloody Band-Aid behind the bed. The air conditioner is super loud and makes the lights dip every time it turns on. Tried turning it off but it would still make noise every couple of minutes. We felt so disgusted that we did not even try the breakfast.

Hotel was hard to find. Hotel surroundings was dirty and stinky. At first glance area looked sketchy. AC was so loud, hair dryer was too old and rusty. What we like was the sheets were very clean, beds were comfortable. The vanity sink is separated from the toilet area so it was very convenient if you are with family.

There were lots of stains on the floor, the air conditioner was at the bottom with holes in the walls where rodents can run in and out of around the air conditioner. Some electrical plugs didn’t work. The wiring to the air conditioner was precarious. A Mickey Mouse job. Mood in the shower. The linen was clean.

We stayed here as a quick stopover. We were arriving late and checking out early and I didn’t want to spend an insane amount on a hotel. The room itself was clean, bedding was clean but the bathroom wasn’t clean, the bathmat towel thing was dirty and and walls needed a good scrub. It was too late to say anything and we were tired and just needed to sleep. Regardless of what you pay the bathroom should be clean.

The room had new flooring and the walls were freshly painted with a shiny paint. The curtain was old and full of holes. The bathtub should be fixed or replaced as should the mattress, pillows and AC unit. With the electrical outlets not much can be done, but a power bar with a few 115v plugs and AV outlets would solve that problem.

Have stayed at 9 -10 hotels / motels during rhis 3 weeks visit of Brirish Columbia and this Howaes Jhonson was undoubtedly the worst among all. Stayed here twice and both times it was disappointing. The dirst room had bad smell of smoking that other travellers have mentioned also. The second room had no hot water. Left the shower open for 10 minutes but no signs of hot water. If one of the breakfast item is finished, you ll have to fo to the reception ans ask them to refill that whixh they would but with a face that you ll regret asking for that. I have been a Hulton Diamond and an IHG Diamond for several years and have tried hundreds of hotels and trust me if I have to mark the list of worst ten ( among chain hotels) this one will find a place in the list on top .

The property’s location was good, but unfortunately the hotel room was not clean and had a bad smell. The carpet seemed to have an unpleasant odor, which made the entire room smell. The bedding also did not feel clean and smelled bad. Overall, the room was not comfortable, and I would not recommend staying at this hotel.
