The room was extremely clean , staff cleans room multiple times a day which is cool . Front desk management was amazing! Conveniently located, I really enjoyed my stay

This property smelled of mould, musty and dampness. Clearly there is a major water issue. Also when checking in they wanted to take a “bond” of $2k (6 night stay) for the mini bar which maybe had a total of $100 of drinks and snacks in it. The lady checking us in was incredibly rude. Offered us an “upgrade” for more than double what we had originally paid for the accommodation. The whole experience was extremely off putting and we won’t be back.

The hotel is well maintained in a great neighborhood close to the train and shopping but for a Marriot, US Corporate, they are not up to par with making things easy for English speaking customers, they try for sure but some people don’t have the patience. I stayed at a lot of W across the globe and love their breakfast, this one again not focused at all on the North America clients, if you love a good Chinese breakfast I am sure it is delicious but I was not impressed as a Westerner

刚进厕所看到洗手台下有卫生纸纸屑，两个漱口杯杯底都是白的，五星级酒店不应该是这样的。除此以外，工作人员都非常友善

The stay was to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary, thank to Sandy & the Welcome Experience Team for decorating the room, catering my requests on room's view and check out preference. Plus their sweet treat. All of them made our stay at W a pleasant and memorable moment!

Very luxurious

My stay at the W Hotel was nothing short of wonderful. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean, beautifully designed, and located in a prime area surrounded by fantastic restaurants and a great mall, making it incredibly convenient for dining and shopping. From the moment I arrived, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely attentive every single day. A special shout-out to Clark, who went above and beyond to help my friend who had accidentally arrived at the wrong airport. His kindness and professionalism truly made a stressful situation so much easier — we are incredibly grateful! The food was absolutely delicious, and the live music added such a fun and vibrant atmosphere to our evenings. Every meal felt special, and every detail was thoughtfully handled. Overall, the W Hotel exceeded all expectations. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious, comfortable, and memorable experience. I can’t wait to return next year!

First time staying here. Location was good. The only thing disappointing is the breakfast. For such a big lux hotel the breakfast was rather disappointing..

The room smells horrible, and the room is dirty and sticky on the floor. Our whole family after shower got eye infection immediately, the shower head must be contaminated. The staffs are very confused, so the check in process is very messy. Cant believe this for a 5 star hotel

Beyond that, every interaction with the team was warm and welcoming, from the front desk to the restaurant staff. The dining options were fantastic, and the overall atmosphere was both chic and comfortable. If you're looking for a **5-star experience with heart**, the W Guangzhou is the place to be. I can’t wait to return!
