Hilton London Watford

Arrived and checked in and very quickly learned there was no water in our room. There was maintenance in the building so we had to navigate several floors and corridors to get there. Then discovered the phone didn’t work so had a 5 minute trip back to reception who advised the water was out throughout the building. I was annoyed they’d let us check in and not mentioned this but they told us it would be back on in 30 mins. 2 hours later no water still so another hike to reception and was told it would be back in 30 mins. 2 hours more and no water - this time the engineers were 30 mins away and I started to suspect someone wasn’t telling the truth! I asked if any rooms had water and was told no - I later discovered this wasn’t true and only the family rooms were out. Several tries later and still no water - no toilet and no showers. We were told the gym 3 floors below had a single shower and a toilet. When we asked how we would shower our children or take them to the toilet in the night this was the only solution. In reality they could’ve moved us to 2 double rooms but obviously this wasn’t financially viable for them. After showering the kids in a public gym shower and taking a 3 flight trip to the toilet in the night we requested a refund but was offered £20 off our £625 stay! This was eventually argued up to 20% of the first night but the stay still cost over £500 for 2 nights and no running water - last Hilton I use.

Clean room and very cool bar with good food. Room was boiling hot with no ability to ventilate ... truly suffocating in the evenings

Everything was spot on. From breakfast to cleanliness to staff. Brilliant hotel. Would definately come back.

Great location not far from motorway. Lots of parking. Room was clean but the bathroom looked a little tired. One night stay for a wedding.

Room out dated, red die on carpets, bath dirty and worn this is probably the most out dated Hilton room we have been in, did not complain because all the rooms are probably the same and it was only for one night and the price you pay the parking should be included £10

Reception on check-in not very friendly room 138 wet room floor old with rips and just patch up cracked tiles window nets discoloured asked for towel as lack off did not get them Bar staff james helpful and friendly On my experience would not recommend to stay hear

Clean room and helpful staff

It was lovely. Amazing breakfast choice. I was a long way from most amenities but close to the gym which was a plus

Spotless room, lovely little touches like biscuits and plenty of coffee and tea. Fluffy towels. Perfect. Staff on reception were lovely too
