Thoroughly enjoyed the hotel, services and location. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable of the local area and services.

Amazing as always! Lovely drink of fizz on arrival, stunning hotel and location. We had a hot tub room which was lovely. We were lucky enough to get a couples full body massage whilst there and use the spa facilities. Food is amazing and we left feeling very well refreshed and happy. We can’t wait to return soon

Great fourth stay at this hotel. Location is perfect a two minute stroll into the centre of Bowness. Very clean with Elmis products in the bathroom and spa, and scented diffusers throughout. Got upgraded from a snug room to a family one which meant an extra bedroom and small seating area with three different views out of the windows. Could have done with extra storage space in the other bedroom. Spa is lovely and you can order drinks from the bar from the little serving window, but be prepared as it’s quite dark. Gowns,slippers and towels all provided in your room, or get extra towels from the barman as you sign in, Breakfast is amazing and well with £10 each we paid, quality bacon,sausages and black pudding,which was a treat and not something I would usually eat. Overall still a lovely hotel and I would return. but maybe a bit tired in places with stains on the communal furniture downstairs.

Amazing our 3rd stay never disapoints.

Absolutely amazing hotel. From the lovely gentleman on the gate on arrival to the very welcoming staff at reception. Could not fault the stay, the room was beautiful. The breakfast was very nice and the service throughout the stay was definitely 5*. Would recommend and will be returning in the future.

This was our second visit to the hotel and we can't wait for a third trip. From the moment you arrive you feel like you are a VIP and Mark the concierge is amazing, such an asset to the hotel. After being welcomed with a glass of fizz and a tour of the hotels facilities Mark leaves you to relax at your own pace, he even shows you to your room once it is ready. The suite with hot tubs are unreal, we haven't stayed anywhere like it anywhere else. The restaurants and cocktail lounge are all fantastic and the spa is a very laid back relaxing area where you feel at ease instantly. Food was gorgeous, we had tapas in the cocktail lounge for lunch, the evening meal in Mizumi was gorgeous and breakfast was excellent. We can't wait to stay again. Thank you all.

Beautiful hotel ! Sftaff very friendly , room clean with good facilities. Only few minutes walk into town . 10/10 will definitely be coming back

Excellent place to stay and relax, little pricey for drinks if I had to complain about something.

Everything has been just amazing! The staff are very helpful and friendly, with such attention to detail. Our room was stunning (we stayed in the Bowness Suite) with the best views ever over the lake! Booked the Bentley to take us down to a restaurant in the harbour for dinner with was ace and such a great touch from the hotel! Spent lots of time in the private hot tub watching the fighter jets fly low over the lake. It's beem magical, I can't fault a single thing. Thank you!

This was our second stay at Lakes Hotel & Spa and wow it was just as special as our last. Thank you so much for being so attentive and lovely throughout our stay. It was so nice to have some staff members remember us from our first stay too! We will 100% be back. Couldn’t rate this place higher if I tried!

Second visit for my wife’s 40th and it never disappoints. Stayed in a double room with Hottub which has amazing views of the lake, rooms are perfect, staff great including drinks and breakfast. Will certainly return

Absolutely stunning hotel. Staff were lovely, nothing was too much trouble. Everything within walking distance. Lots to do in and around Windermere. Will definitely be making a return!!

Couldnt fault anything apart from we were in room 131 and the privacy in the hot tub lacked a bit. Everyone that passed either on foot or in a car were gawping at us. A non clear banister would stop this. My wife felt a little bit awkward walking to and from the tub.

Gorgeous hotel , plenty of parking. Prosecco on arrival. Room was really nice. Spa was ace. Breakfast was really nice. Will definitely stay again

All staff we encountered were really helpful and friendly. I accidentally locked myself out my locker at the spa at check out date and the staff were more than happy to help. We were greeted with a welcome drink and after we completed check in, we were told we were upgraded to a room with a hot tub. Oliver helped us to our room and explained how to use the hot tub and explained that the hot tub may be noisy as it is closer to the room than the floors above. The bathrooms may need a little upgrade, however, the room itself was lovely and relaxing. The spa is nice and relaxing. It isn’t big, however it has the essential, changing rooms with Elemis products, pool, 2 x hot tubs, plunge pool, sauna and steam room. You can get a drink from the bar from inside the spa. Only small con I have is there isn’t many loungers to chill on, however, this will not stop me from going back. The breakfast was in a beautiful room and really nice spread and options. Staff were a delight too. The hotel and spa was beautiful and I cannot wait to return. It is £12 to park your car there, however, it is for the full duration of your stay. The only minor con is the guests who stay in the hot tub, you are on the full view of people, please be mindful of what everyone can see what you are doing.
