Really good quality hotel. Decor was modern and well maintained. The receptionist was lovely and efficient. The bed was very comfortable and Nespresso coffee was an excellent touch in the room. The location is great for access to the city and the railway station.

The hotel was a great location, rooms clean and comfortable and a good breakfast.
The car park is too small for the volume using it and very tight for larger vehicles but staff were exceptionally helpfully in finding us a parking space when we arrived and the car park was full .
WARNING! we booked through Expedia who charged us 5% more than the room rate on the hotels invoice at check out. BOOK DIRECT OR AG LEAST NOT THROUGH EXPEDIA

Our room was dated and not clean; stains on the carpet that have been there a while. Imogen was excellent on the front desk and tried to accommodate us but there was only so much she could do about underlying issues. I would not stay here again.

Overall it was clean and in a very central location, I also cannot fault the staff.
In terms of the room & breakfast it was a little underwhelming. For the price paid over the weekend for a leisure break it would have been nice to have had a bath tub and a softer bed. Breakfast very popular which meant often waiting for food options to be replenished. Everything else as expected, many thanks.
