this hotel is suitable for those who calm themselves because the atmosphere is calm. The interior and exterior design of this hotel is also very artistic and classic Javanese, with wooden furniture. Yesterday, a deluxe room with a view view was also granted. View of the view at night and the morning is very amazing. At night the lights of Malang city, the morning was welcomed by a mountain view. The restaurant for breakfast is on the edge of the pool. Food is also good, really recommend the salad and omelette. Puass.

The water heater isn't hot, so showering is cold.
The glass is 1 cm, and they give you tea and coffee, but no sugar, haha.

-Booked two rooms. When we checked in, one was neat, but the other was still a mess. The previous passenger's bag was still there. The room hadn't been cleaned at all. Then we were moved to the building next door. We got the key, but the door was difficult to open with the key.
-The sheets still had a few stains.
-The water heater wasn't hot.
-The TV remote didn't work.

Bad experience... booked a family triple room on September 6, 2025.
Checked in at 8:00 PM with two children, and no one had eaten until we reached the front desk.
We were denied check-in, citing room issues.
Perhaps because of the high season, they can sell the room at a higher price. They offered us a smaller room and breakfast. I checked the room and it was still dirty, with trash, no TV, and even more cramped. We ultimately declined. Finding a hotel in Batu during high season is certainly not easy. We ended up changing hotels at 8:30 PM.

Booked a family room, asked for a corner room because I had a baby, but was given a corner room because they were full. The bed was full of hair, and when I opened the room, it was stuffy and the curtains were very dusty. The lock was hard to open. The bathroom was dirty, and the toothbrush was hard and painful to use. The staff were friendly, but the food was tasteless. 3 stars is like 2 stars. Sorry 🙏

The breakfast options are quite extensive and attractive, the pool is spacious (there's one for both children and adults, and the adult pool is quite deep), the rooms are comfortable (not scary, modern with tap card locks), the parking is very spacious even though it's in an alley, and there are lots of art knickknacks (statues, paintings, antique plates, etc.).
I suggest that the bathrooms could have soap and shampoo. There's bar soap in the room, but no shampoo (and hotel slippers. Yesterday, I had a bit of trouble without slippers to go to the pool).
Overall, it's very worth it. I might try it again.

The staff is quite good, HK always keeps the rooms clean, the only thing lacking is that the water heater sometimes doesn't turn on in the early morning, and the AC remote doesn't turn on either, so I ended up using the remote from my Xiaomi phone.

Overall, my experience was quite satisfactory.
Pros:
* Very strategic location, close to the city
* Ample parking area
* Friendly and responsive staff.
* Great view
Cons/Suggestions for Improvement:
* Bathroom cleanliness needs to be reviewed
* The sheets and pillowcases were a bit dirty, with stains on them
* Got a room on the 3rd floor. There's no elevator, so you have to use the stairs.

The staff is super duper friendly, the only strange thing is the WA admin (don't know who, I think it's the owner) I happened to get a clean and decent room for that price, the view is also of the mountains, it's really nice in the morning, I deliberately didn't order a buffet because I wanted to go on a culinary tour in Batu City, there was a fireworks party on New Year's.
