It's really nice to stay here, this is the second time, previously before changing the name, the staff was friendly and very helpful, I was quite bothered when checking in for birthday greetings for two rooms, but was served very well and when checking out I even left some things behind, they helped me find them and found them.. the swimming pool is also nice, the kids don't want to stop swimming.. if possible, maybe next time a children's pool under 5 years old can be added... Hopefully the service will remain OK and get better... thank you

the best budget hotel I've ever stayed in. clean and fragrant in all the rooms, there are additional pillows which are very useful if you bring children. not only pillows, but there are also bolsters (this is rarely available in other hotels). soap + shampoo is also different from other hotels, makes you addicted to bathing. basically this hotel is very comfortable. when I stayed, I took the sahur package, even though it was still 3 o'clock but the sahur menu was very complete. i love the southern hotel ❤

The hotel is comfortable, the staff is friendly and always ready to help. The surprise was that the room I booked had free snacks and drinks, not only on the first day but also on the following days. Thank you, The Southern, hopefully it will be better in the future.

I stayed at many hotels in Surabaya before this trip and so far this hotel exceeds the others! From express check in, bed and sleep quality, and breakfast (compare to others with the same price). The staffs are also friendly and helpful.
The only thing I wish would be better isnthe swimming pool. If other guests are using the pool, it became uncomfortable because of the small pool size. And also when we swam, suddenly there's a smoke from the neighbor who we were burning their trash.
Overall, I would stay again at this hotel (but sadly I won't be swimming anymore).

The hotel is nice, clean, the staff is friendly, but I was a little disappointed when I wanted to borrow a bowl in the lobby, I was told to go straight to the front of the welcome drink area, but the lady said it was impossible to bring it to the room (lah). Then I was told to call 2 people, eh, I went upstairs again and hm the phone was wrong, no, hmm, I automatically went down to the lobby and asked for a bowl to be brought to me 🥹

It's really nice to stay here, this is the second time, previously before changing the name, the staff was friendly and very helpful, I was quite bothered when checking in for birthday greetings for two rooms, but was served very well and when checking out I even left some things behind, they helped me find them and found them.. the swimming pool is also nice, the kids don't want to stop swimming.. if possible, maybe next time a children's pool under 5 years old can be added... Hopefully the service will remain OK and get better... thank you
