hotel location near Mall Ambarukmo - near old airport and less expensive culinary area surround the hotel ( see the photo ) - greenery hotel - quiet in night and the room AC is cold eventhough the hotel building is rather old - swimming poll available ...recommended for family - businessman - single younger to stay in it

The hotel location and surrounding so nice and many culinary such as soto , gudeg , pecel pincuk ,bakso , warmindo till near with Mall Royal Ambarukmo and near Adi Sucipto Airport ( oldest ) with economical price .Every morning we could do morning sport activities ie ride, jogging .The hotel provide rental scoter and bicycle hourly ( 50,000 rp - 25,000 rp ) .If feel boring then go to cinema 21 inside Mall Ambarukmo by walking ( 400 m ) ...So everything provided just need prepare the money ...dont we ?

Nice place and recommended for staycation

Nice, close to the mall and eateries, clean, has a big swimming pool, but unfortunately I didn't bring a swimsuit. Next time I go there again, I want to try the swimming pool too.

I've stayed here twice. The room isn't as damp as it was before. The bathroom is clean now, with a beautiful plant next to the sink. The room is spacious.

A comfortable hotel for a family vacation

The best service, Mandang, was served with great pleasure... That comfortable. The food was the best, everything tasted delicious. The bedroom was really worth it, it was superior for meetings. I happened to be there yesterday during a sudden meeting, so the ladies were able to help me check in faster. Huhu, I'm touched. Five stars for me and my family.

Everything is ok with this hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at The Victoria Hotel Yogyakarta. The staff were very friendly and helpful—I really appreciated being allowed to check in early, and the clear explanation of the hotel facilities was a nice touch. The room itself was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. I was truly impressed by the cleanliness and attention to detail. Parking was also easy and felt very safe, which added to the convenience. The location couldn’t be better—right in the city centre and just behind Ambarukmo Plaza Mall, making it super easy to get anywhere. Overall, I’m really happy with my experience here and will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Jogja. Thank you so much to the team for the warm hospitality!

Clean hotel close to everywhere, food lacks taste but is worth the price

The place is in an alley right next to Royal Ambarukmo, so go slowly rather than turning back and taking more time.

Staying on the 3rd floor was not comfortable at all due to renovations from the afternoon and early morning check-in.

The best choice for a hotel. The environment is very comfortable and quiet. The rooms are clean and the atmosphere is peaceful. While the menu isn't very varied, the food is delicious and the dining area is comfortable.

The room rate is worth it with the room space and bathroom

The hotel has a comfortable atmosphere, with lots of shady trees and a cool, refreshing atmosphere. The staff is friendly. The hotel and surroundings are clean. However, the rooms are a bit stuffy, especially when you first check in. The trash cans in the rooms should be replaced with covered ones.

Good: Great pool, great service at buffet breakfast (thanks Adi for all the egg dishes and coffee) and a good selection of local and western foods including fresh fruits and juices, excellent location 10 minutes walk from Ambarrukmo Plaza and Bluebird taksi rank, helpful reception staff. The bathroom was always clean and the bed made up. Not so good: The main restaurant was undergoing renovation during our stay, so the cafe was serving as the restaurant. On the 2 occasions we had dinner here the arrival of the food took a long time and quality of meals was inconsistent. As older people, we found the mattress a little too firm, but this might be okay with most people. Housekeeping happened daily but attention to detail like restocking the coffee and tea supplies was patchy. Toilet rolls were small and only supplied one at a time, so we had to ask for more a couple of times. Noise from other rooms filtered through to us, and our wardrobe door hinges squeaked loudly at every opening. Like many hotels these days, the bed comes with a doona and no top sheet or blanket as an alternative. In a tropical climate I do not understand this as it meant we had to run the air conditioner on a quite cold setting to have a comfortable sleep. Doonas are hot to sleep under. Overall: We enjoyed our stay here as it was so central, and a dip in the beautiful pool at the end of a hot day of sight seeing was great. Once we found a supermarket and had our own milk, coffee and tea supplies, the inconsistencies of the daily housekeeping didn't matter that much. Our driver was treated respectfully each day when he came to pick us up.

Clean and comfortable place, large swimming pool.

I give it a 75 out of 100. The location is close to the mall, comfortable, cool, clean, quiet, and a pleasant atmosphere for a morning walk. The swimming pool is clean. But there's one thing missing... The hot water/water heater in the bathroom didn't work. I took my 4-month-old and 3-year-old children with me. The 3-year-old was brave enough to take a cold shower, though I felt a little sorry for her. But the 4-month-old ended up just wiping it down with wet wipes.
