We were very satisfied staying at this hotel (we all rented 3 rooms). The room is very spacious, and the most important thing is that there are 2 bus facilities provided by the hotel (bus to NRT Airport (terminals 1,2 and 3) and JR NRT Station Bus. The hotel staff is very professional. When the bus does not arrive at 7 am to NRT Airport The Narita Gateway Hotel provides free 2 taxi facilities which we can directly use to NRT airport, amazingly, We In Sya Allah will return to stay at the Narita Gateway Hotel when on vacation to Japan.

As we were checking in my 4 year old sat on the lobby couch which was from 1960 and he happened to put his feet on the furniture then the clerk proceeded to yell at him to put his feet down. Once we walked to our floor the entire place smelled like an ashtray, same for the actual room. Furniture in the room is from 1960’s as well, no usb plugs, we were 5 guests but only had 3 pillows in the room, one bed was a roll out cot. Mini fridge had residue from prior guests, mold in shower. I was about to walk out to another hotel but heavy rain deterred us, would not recommend this place , go elsewhere.

We stayed 3 night. Booked with breakfast buffets. They need to change menu. Same thing every day. Gets old. The bus took us to aeon mall and airport are a plus. Except they used old drivers which mean u have to load up your own luggages. They used small buses. So it gets so crowed. Tobu used big buses. I wish they could do that.

This hotel has everything: currency exchage machin, mini market , laundry, gym and you cna include breakfast buffet in your reservation. It has a free shuttle to the airport and to the nearby mall. The garden is beautiful 😍

The hotel is old but the rooms are spacious. The airport and town shuttles are convenient but can get crowded at certain times of the day. The restaurant was never open the whole 3 nights of our stay. The AC is controller is attached to the nightstand, which can be confusing because there is a thermostat on the wall. Also, the shower seems to not drain very well.

This is my eighth time staying at this hotel over the past three years. I always returned because it was impeccably clean and the breakfast was wonderful. However, the cleanliness of the rooms has declined significantly and the quality of offerings at breakfast buffet has also declined. After this most recent stay I was so disappointed I will most likely be considering other hotels in the vicinity next time I’m in the area. The room is also uncomfortably warm with no way to lower the temperature.

Shuttle bus both ways on time. Staff at check in efficient and polite. Hotel is at least 50 years old and the internal features clearly indicate this. Breakfast buffet reasonable. No evening restaurant. It only has a small convenience store or a trip to town . Ok for an overnight stay before a flight. But the price was very reasonable for Japan so it’s your decision
