Food, customer service, and accommodations were all top notch! I would definitely return.

It was too relaxing and comfortable, making me want to stay in more than I should have. The pajamas were amazing for sleep. The air con is a little dated but that’s the only real downside. The breakfast is pricey but you are also paying for the service and ambiance. Gym is tiny. Location is great.

Our stay at the Shangri-La Tokyo was absolutely exceptional and truly set the standard for luxury hospitality. From the moment we arrived, every member of the team made us feel welcome and cared for, and the level of service was simply incredible. A very special thank you to Manisha Khatr, who went far above and beyond during our stay. At one point she even personally walked us to the train station to make sure we got there easily. That level of kindness and attentiveness made a lasting impression on us. We also want to recognize Sanjeev, the breakfast and lunch manager, who ran the morning service with such warmth and professionalism. Breakfast each day was a highlight — the food was fantastic and the service was seamless. Sanjeev made guests feel genuinely welcome and ensured everything ran perfectly. Another standout was Karen on the Horizon Level, who was wonderful throughout our stay. She made the lounge experience feel personal and welcoming, and her attentiveness really elevated the entire experience. The rooms are fabulous — spacious, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail feels thoughtful and luxurious. What impressed us most was how the team genuinely cared about guests’ wellbeing. I had injured my knee during our trip, and without hesitation the staff brought large ice packs to our room at night to help. It was such a thoughtful gesture and just one example of how they went out of their way to help with anything we needed. The location

Terrific rooms. Great service. Gym is way too small and poorly equipped. Not on par with the rest of the hotel. Main breakfast lunch restaurant has a very underwhelming buffet. Small and boring choices. Not at level of similar quality hotels.

Great Hotel. A little quiet and conservative but the rooms are beautiful and comfortable. Great views. Right by Tokyo Train Station which has lots of restaurants and shops and convenient transportation and walking distance to Ginza Crossing, Ginza Station and Tokyo Plaza. I love it.

Service was excellent. Checked in at club lounge and everything done from there afterwards. They remember your names from day 1. Food in lounge excellent also and location of hotel perfect for Tokyo station

We booked this for the final leg of our trip through Japan. The hotel is nice. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Housekeeping was excellent. The staff is polite but a few things kept it from being a 5 star experience for us: a few times we tried calling reception for assistance and no one answered, the bar was closed when we tried to get a drink after dinner though it was not yet 11pm, then the next time we tried to get into the lounge, we were told it would be an hour wait but saw empty seats at the bar that entire time. The on-site restaurant is hideously overpriced. It’s Tokyo, you can get amazing meals at every price point so the Nadaman restaurant is not recommended in terms of quality to price ratio.

This is such a convenient hotel to stay at since it is right next to Tokyo Station. You are able to take a train straight to Narita Airport. The hotel is a bit pricy but because it’s a fancy hotel with great staff who go out of their way. The rooms themselves are also great and the view on either side is also wonderful. If you are on the garden view side, the only negative thing I can think of is that you will hear the train but it’s nothing you can’t ignore since it’s not too loud. I haven’t tried their food but I can imagine it is great as well. I will have to try next time

The hotel has visibly aged, gym and spa facilities are very small for today’s standards, staff is friendly but not proactive.
