Very strategic, romantically located next to the lake. We got the room (i think all rooms) facing the lake. Ambiance is very nice. I strongly recommend this hotel.

We were disappointed with our stay. For a five-star hotel at this price point, our expectations weren’t met. We booked a classic city view room—not a suite—which felt small, outdated, and had an unusually low shower head (I’m 5’11” and had to squat to rinse).
Service was mixed: check-in was friendly with great food tips, but bar service was very slow. Other issues included early morning construction noise, undelivered luggage, malfunctioning key cards and Wi-Fi, and repeated trips to reception.
These may have been isolated issues, but overall, the experience didn’t match the cost or reputation. We won’t be returning on our next visit to Lucerne.

Property was in a beautiful location I heard a lot of great things about the hotel but when we arrived they mentioned that since we had kids we would need to pay for a larger room even though I had paid for a queen bed and was apparently upgraded to 2 twin beds. They said it was the law or fire hazard, something of that nature made no sense to me. The larger room wasn’t necessary because our kids are tiny toddlers but they still required me to pay extra for the upgrade. That threw me off because that’s never been a thing that I have ever experienced with 2 toddlers. We probably wouldn’t go back for this very reason.

Excellent facility. Nice staff, though my credit card was charged at check-in and again at checkout (reversed later that day). Excellent location, easy walk to train station. Particularly liked the classic bar. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent hotel, beautiful room, with very comfortable beds. Rooms and bathroom very clean. Loved our stay here. My only issue was breakfast, the service was terrible, the staff were faffing about trying to look busy rather than service customers, it took 25 mins from ordering for the cooked option to arrive and the place was a ¼ full at best. I would recommend you get breakfast elsewhere.
