Hotel Old Town

The bathroom too tiny.

le personnel étaient froid, pas de sourire. chambre plus ou moins propre. le déjeuner était compris mais très peux de choix.

Room was clean and sufficient size, staff was helpful and friendly… Location was very convenient too….

The property is located perfectly in the heart of Old Town so location gets a 5 star. The room was clean and the AC worked, which was a blessing during our stay. You have to enter/register through their steakhouse but after that they want you using the "back door". The fella that works there is cranky and barks at you if you come into the steakhouse. No ice for the room is available. The elevator is very small so if you have lots of luggage or big bags it will be multiple trips up/down! The shower door did not close which was a struggle to keep water off the floor. On the second day it didn't work at all so no showers. I tried to tell the gal at the desk but she didn't speak any English.

Centrally located in the heart of Zurich, hotel is above steakhouse restaurant. Breakfast included which was nice simple continental style. Would stay again.

This hotel is above a restaurant. It has no lobby. They have u use the back entrance to come and go. No one cleaned our room. There was no one to talk to talk other than the owner who was very arrogant.. The good aspects of the hotel was that it was clean, had good air conditioning and was in a great location in Old Town. I would not stay again .

The room was clean, staff were pleasant, breakfast included was helpful. Located above a restaurant where we had breakfast. Back stairwell was steep for anyone with mobility issues but overall a unique European experience. 8/10 rating from me.

This is hotel is extremely basic. It is above a restaurant. There is no lobby and they make u use a back door. There is a terrible breakfast. The owner is very arrogant and the only one to talk to. No one cleaned our room. Only good things was that the room was clean, the air conditioning was good and the location was great.

Clean room was larger than our Paris or Munich hotels. Food was fantastic at the restaurant, not cheap but excellent food. air conditioning was great and it was +30c. Definitely will stay again and eat here when in Zurich.

The hotel was surprisingly nice. It was strange to check in to the hotel in the restaurant and a back door takes you to the rooms. There is a back door entrance to use for coming and going. However you exit near the garbage! The breakfast was delicious and plentiful and the staff super friendly and helpful

Convenient location in Old Town. Quick walk to the train station. Lots of shopping and restaurant options right outside the door!

Our room on the 4th floor was adequate for a 1 night stay. The room was very clean but very basic and in a good location for exploring the city, only 10min walk to Zurich HB This hotel does not offer a front desk/ reception area. We seemed to be checked in by wait staff in the steak house attached. There was no one to answer questions, or offer advice on what to see or do in the area. When I did ask one question, we were immediately dismissed because the waiter had to prepare the restaurant for the lunch crowd. The room itself was basic but clean. Towels were ratty, pillows beyond flat The entrance to the hotel is a little creepy. It’s located around the back of the building and you require the room key to open the door, or ring a door bell and the staff from the restaurant will let you in. When you enter the building, you go straight up the stairs or elevator…there is NOTHING hotel like about this place. The hotel is ok for a quick stop or for someone very familiar with Zurich and does not need any guidance or advice about the town. It is a quick 10min walk from Zurich HB so that was nice. Overall due to the lack of “hotel” amenities and a reception area with knowledge staff, I can only rate this a 3 star at best.

This hotel is nestled in the heart of the old city over top of a restaurant. The room was fairly dated, but was reasonably comfortable. It was surprisingly quiet, considering the location.

The biggest draw back was a noisy AC unit. The AC was needed but being woke up at 2am every morning to loud banging fan noise wasn’t much fun…. Other than that the room was nice.

Air conditioning had to be continously emptied. Kind of a bummer

The curtains were hanging off our window. The shower you had to duck your head to get into it. We were on the top floor. Luggage storage was just on the stairs where people were going up and down so that wasn’t really the optimum. I like the location and the breakfast was excellent. The coffee and tea in the room there wasn’t any.

The hotel access was very confusing. Had to ring the door 4 times before anyone answered. Staff did not speak much English making it difficult to register. Room was clean but very warm. Tried using the AC but it blew directly on the bed making it impossible to sleep and the unit leaked water on the floor - making it slippery.

It was in the perfect spot to catch the tram. And in old town, it was convenient to everything. All buildings are old here, so expect it. They had a small elevator that could be accessed through the attached steakhouse restaurant, if needed, but the stairs worked fine for us. We entered through the back door to come and go which took us straight the stairs to our room.(This would not be an option for wheelchairs, as there are a few steps up to reach the elevator). Elevator access would have to go through the restaurant each time. The included breakfast had nice options and they made a latte for us each day. It was a treat compared to regular coffee! The staff was friendly. Room was clean. It had everything we needed.
