Hotel experience was decent, but nothing amazing as some of the reviews depicted. 1. Yes, amazing rooftop view. 2. You are charged 20 times the normal cost of a regular drink if you choose to order a drink or food at the rooftop bar areas. Similar with food ordering via the hotel’s QR system. We purchased 3 rooms for our stay, room 2117, 2119, and 2109. The One with the city view appeared to be 10 times better while the ones with the river view were run down quite a bit, as we noticed numerous drywall repairs that appeared to be either half done or done by an amateur. The location is decent, as there is a small mall within 3 blocks or about a half mile or so. Overall for the cost, it was decent, but I expected a lot more when it came to room conditions and quality, as a renovation seems to be necessary in the river view rooms we were assigned. I think the rooftop areas are way underutilized due to the massive overcharging for food and drinks, making it empty when a view like such should keep the place packed with people. We spent an hour at the rooftop bar lounge area around 9 pm and noticed about 7 people, and this was with a live DJ…They really need to reevaluate their business strategy..you cannot expect 1 customer to pay as much as 10 customers.

It’s slightly outside of the main area so a taxi is necessary
There was some confusion over the deposit which was expensive £236 on top of the £400 we had already paid for 4 nights which is expensive for Thailand
Apparently the deposit has to be in a credit card and it takes up to 2 weeks to be returned after u leave the hotel which isn’t great
The hotel is expensive but the views from the sky bar are spectacular

Had some of the trappings of a five star hotel. The food? Amazing. And the chocolate they left in the room the best I’ve had ever. Big rooms fitness room sauna. DONT MISS THIS PLACE ITS A GEM.
My wife is a Thai she wanted me to mention that although the staff had English skills, no Thai skills. They hired a lot of workers from abroad mainly china. This is a sore spot for the locals, so if you’re spouse is a Thai and has nationalist sentiments Caveat Emptor.

The bed is very comfortable, the breakfast was amazing. They have at least 5 restaurants and a couple two Star Michelin Restaurants. I ate at Mezzaluna French cuisine with a Japanese twist. The eight course plus meal was spectacular ! I bar also eaten at Sirocco, where Hangover III was filmed .. awesome with amazing view as you sit on the 64th floor outside with a live band in the background! This is my second time stay, Lebua has never felled me. The staff was superb, and a true pleasure. When in Bangkok I most definitely will stay there again.

Asked about getting our laundry done and no one had come by when we had asked about it. It’s a minor thing we ended up going to a laundromat nearby. But maybe better communication amongst staff to ensure requests can be fulfilled. Rest of stay was excellent!
