Cirebon Ekspres Train
Cirebon Ekspres presented by PT KAI (Persero) is managed by the operational region of Cirebon 3. The mix-class train offers access from Jakarta Gambir Station to Cirebon (Kejaksaan) Station. The train travels a distance of 219 km, within 3 hours. It makes a stop at these following stations – Jatibarang Station, Haurgeulis Station, Cikampek Station, Bekasi Station, and Jatinegara Station.
Taking a return trip, Cirebon Ekspres travels three times a day – the traveling frequencies are based on two regular trips and additional/facultative one. The regular departure times are 12:10 p.m. for the morning train and 10:20 p.m. for the night train. Meanwhile, the reverse departure time (from Cirebon Station) is available twice in the morning i.e. 5:50 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. The rail fairs vary and depend on the train subclass, reservation time, and departure schedule.
For the executive class train, the fire ticket cost from 120,000 IDR to 135,000 and from 155,000 IDR to 180,000 IDR. While for the economy type, the passengers are charged from 80,000 IDR, 90,000 IDR to 100,000 IDR. Due to its competitive price – it’s no wonder – Cirebon Ekspres incredibly has multiple occupancies just in a day. Consequently, a facultative trip is often added on the weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday). The additional one has a departure time allowing the train to leave from Cirebon Station at 4:45 p.m. The fares are the same as the regular one, be it the economy or executive one.
