Wijayakusuma Train is an executive and premium economy classes train. The Wijayakusuma Railway is entered as a type of long-distance train that serves the Cilacap - Banyuwangi route with a distance of 786 km. The train which is located in Purwokerto's V Operational Area, consists of 4 executive trains, 1 generator train, 3 premium economy, and 1 luggage train. Each train series is also equipped with catering facilities, entertainment facilities, and luggage facilities. Toilet facilities, air conditioning, light fire extinguisher will also complete the train series.
In one day, the Wijayakusuma Train travels back and forth only once. With around 31-32 stops to be passed, this train usually takes around more or less of 17 hours to travel. Initially, the Cilacap - Solo Route was also applied to fill the empty slots of the Cilacap Station.
Especially for the Wijayakusuma Train, the Cilacap - Solo route was first launched on September 26, 2017 with premium economy class services. Route renewal was inaugurated since September 1, 2018. Extension of the route was also followed by the addition of executive cars on the train.
