We only used this hotel as a base, can't comment on breakfast, bar etc. Fabulous location, right next to station and easy walk to everything we wanted....cocktail bars, restaurants, O2 city hall, riverside and metro station to the coast. Clean, excellent shower, helpful staff and reasonably priced

I probably got the noisiest room on the 1st floor by the main road. Bed was comfortable. windows were not clean to view outside! Old style amenities but doable. On the positive side- Staff was really friendly and helpful. Location was great for easy access to town centre, train station etc.

This being our third visit to this hotel the rooms were quite good, our bed was tired, towels were worn, bathroom facilities were also tired, a good refurb would be the order of the day. It's a shame we only found out about the reduced breakfast price as well were checking out. We shall no doubt return, as this hotel is smack right where you want to be.

Good central location and friendly, helpful staff. A large Victorian building that is probably very expensive to maintain in good condition. My standard room was clean but needed a refresh, especially the moth-eaten carpet. The moths were visible.
