The hotel looks amazing from the outside with a unique design. We were lucky to get a room upgrade, and we absolutely loved the room. It was very spacious, beautiful, and comfortable. Plus, it was the only hotel on our UK trip with AC, which made a big difference! We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay in York.

Friendly and attentive reception staff. We stayed in a suite room 400 and it was lovely and spacious, clean and situated in a quiet part of the hotel. Breakfast was self service and all the food was piping hot. As with most hotels the toaster was slow which meant there was always a queue.

Cannot fault the hotel and staff, however I specifically chose this hotel as it has parking, I have stayed in York many times and know how difficult it can be to get a parking space. I didn’t realise that their parking is open to the public so when we arrived back at the hotel on Saturday afternoon there were no parking spaces, I had to wait until someone left, along with everyone else looking for a space. This might not be a problem for some people, but living in London where parking is a nightmare, I come away to relax and this just stressed me out. A suggestion might be to just keep for hotel guests. I might add that I paid the hotel £22 per day for parking,
