The hotel looks amazing from the outside with a unique design. We were lucky to get a room upgrade, and we absolutely loved the room. It was very spacious, beautiful, and comfortable. Plus, it was the only hotel on our UK trip with AC, which made a big difference! We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay in York.

This is a delightful hotel very conveniently located for the railway station and city centre. The ambience is outstanding and gives great attention to maintaining the history associated with York and offering an excellent range of guest f,acilities. The staff are exceptionally pleasant and helpful; they work hard to make your stay very enjoyable.

Our stay at the Milner was excellent. Reception staff were extremely helpful and very welcoming. The rooms were very clean, the lobby is amazing. Conveniently located directly next to the station. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a stay in the centre of York.

Excellent staff and a lovely building, well located for York train station and only a short walk into the old town. Why a 3 star the ? Tiny, really tiny, room and a breakfast that was universally overcooked took away from what might have been a great stay.

I stayed for 4 nights towards the end of July. Common areas are very impressive. Breakfast is pretty good - food items often running out though and you only get coffee out of flasks rather than a machine so not much variety. Gymn was small for the number of people using it. Car parking is ridiculously overpriced. But room was comfy and great staff so overall decent.

Very convenient location and helpful, friendly staff. Paid extra for a city view, but unfortunately not much of a view! Our room was very noisy through the night caused by the fridge, woke me up hourly due to the banging and fan.
