Jinan Airport, officially Jinan Yaoqiang International Airport (TNA), is the main airport for Jinan, the capital of Shandong province in eastern China. It sits in Yaoqiang Subdistrict, Licheng District, about 30 to 33 km north-east of central Jinan. One terminal building handles both domestic and international flights. The airport is the headquarters of Shandong Airlines, and China Eastern Airlines also has a base here.

Getting to and from Jinan Airport

Jinan Metro Line 3

Line 3 stops at Airport South station, and exit B leads to the terminal. The line connects the airport with the city, with interchanges for Jinan East and Jinan West railway stations. Late-evening express trains also run on the line.

Airport bus lines run to Jinan railway station, Jinan West station, the city centre and a city check-in terminal. Buy your ticket at the counter just outside the arrivals hall on level 1.

Long-distance coaches

The airport has its own long-distance bus station, with coaches to cities across Shandong such as Tai'an, Jining, Zibo, Weifang, Linyi and Dezhou. It is a useful option if Jinan is not your final stop.
