Jinan Yaoqiang International Airport is the main gateway to Shandong province's capital and the home hub of Shandong Airlines. Compare airlines flying in and out of Jinan (TNA) and set a Price Alert on Traveloka to catch a good fare before you book.
Jinan Yaoqiang International Airport sits around 33 km (about an hour's drive) northeast of central Jinan. It handled roughly 20 million passengers in 2025, making it one of China's 25 busiest airports. The airport currently operates from a single main terminal building, with a large second terminal (T2) under construction as part of a wider expansion.
Jinan's network is centred on domestic routes across China, with a growing number of international and regional links. See Traveloka's flight-route pages for specific city pairs and set a Price Alert to track fares as schedules change.
Shandong Airlines is headquartered in Jinan and uses Yaoqiang Airport as its main operating hub, giving the airport an unusually dense domestic network for a provincial capital of its size. Other Chinese carriers also serve the airport.
The current terminal building combines a main hall with north and south concourses, offering the usual mix of check-in, security, dining, retail and lounge facilities. Expect this to change once the new T2 opens as part of the airport's expansion.
Airport shuttle buses run between the terminal and central Jinan, and taxis and ride-share are available outside the terminal. Verify current routes and fares before you travel.
The terminal has free Wi-Fi, charging points, dining and duty-free shopping, along with currency exchange and baggage services — practical rather than premium, in line with its role as a regional hub airport.
