We stay here often, brilliant location in Bristol with the bonus of safe and secure parking in the Millennium underground carpark at a good price.

I loved my short stay here with my two dogs - my room overlooked the square and had all the amenities I needed. I slept well and it was well situated to explore everything and be straight out in the buzz of millennium square and the waterways in the morning. I can’t comment on the food as don’t eat there but the staff were friendly and gladly took a parcel from Amazon in for me which I really appreciated Parking in the very nearby carpark at a discount was a bonus for me too Would recommend and definitely stay again

Rooms were clean, staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the air conditioning was controlled by the outside air temp and the room was hot and muggy at night. Would not recommend the breakfast.

Room was fine, staff were good. Ordered a pizza from the barcoded menu in the room. After 20 minutes then order was accepted - great. After a full hour no pizza? I don't hatsapped the business team at the hotel and was told the hotel didn't receive an order from me and they do not take online orders! Even though their website is setup for that? Oh 24 hours later I checked my order - it's still pending. Wouldn't stay again, I waited an hour for lunch, then had to rush out for a sandwich before a meeting.

Modern design but fairly basic hotel. Harbourside location, good for sightseeing, shopping and evening entertainment. Walking distance to both the Hippodrome and Beacon theatres. Staff mostly foreign and not speaking or understanding basic requests. Rooms are basic, beds and pillows are not very comfortable. Bathroom shower was good, both hot and with good pressure. Breakfast was OK, simple English breakfast options plus a small continental choice, with cereals, yoghurt and a few pastries. All in all OK for an overnight stay.

Having browsed the reviews and photos before booking, I arrived with reasonable expectations - which made the reality something of a surprise. The room given to me appeared significantly more dated than anything shown online - halogen lighting, a linoleum bathroom that felt closer to a utility room than a hotel, and an overall aesthetic that hadn’t seen an update in some time (room 101, ironically). The room appeared to be designed for wheelchair users, which raises its own questions - it was notably small, and I genuinely wondered whether a wheelchair would comfortably navigate the space. If the accessible rooms receive less investment than the standard ones shown in the promo photos, that feels like a disservice to exactly the guests who need the most comfortable stay. The location is convenient and the stay was functional. But the gap between what’s advertised and what’s delivered is rather significant. Especially for £170 a night. Won’t be staying here next year for sure

Unfortunately our experience with Ibis was terrible. They cancelled our reservation (we had paid in advance for 3 nights) and they double booked other guests in the room reserved for us. Their policy says that no show results in cancellation. We didn’t show up on the first day of reservation but we sent a message through Expedia saying that we would still make it and we were headed as participants to the Running event hosted in Bristol. They failed to read the message and cancelled our reservation resulting in us having to room around Bristol to find a stay when was all pretty much booked for the 1/2 marathon event. On top of that we had to pay premium prices elsewhere as we had no options left. Sloppy way of handling customers and terrible policy. Will not recommend this franchise to anyone.
