Great place to stay. Small annoying things like batteries out in the remote, bath scales not working but overall very good, checkout and check in times are more reasonable than other places. Staff are lovely.

As per a lot of other reviews this hotel is in need of a major refurb. Very dated and fixtures and fittings damaged or broken. Bullet points below for room 1415 1. Light fitting damaged and hanging down in bedroom 2. Skirting board in bedroom water damaged due to leaks in bathroom. 3. Bathroom fitting loose and damaged causing water to leak through wall into bedroom. 4. Ice bucket provided - no need as ice machines don’t work 5. Door key deactivated itself 4 times during our stay - revisit reception each time from floor 14 to be told it must be our fault. Interesting response I thought. 6. Door lock damaged 7. Creaking noise every 2 minutes from inside walls behind headboard 8. Aircon just does not work even when it appears to be switched on. 9. TV remote had some buttons rubbed out so you have to try to work out how to use the TV 10. Pillows and mattress could do with being replaced.

Don’t think I’ll be returning. As well as the noticeable noise of the road outside (I’ve never stayed in a hotel that gives complimentary ear plugs before), the breakfast was incredibly underwhelming, the staff didn’t seem to have much urgency in getting waiting guests taken care of…oh and I got stuck on floor 5 for about 20 minutes while the lift just decided not to work. I couldn’t find the stairs..maybe there weren’t any. Oh and the fire alarm went off at 1am. It was not a fun stay.

I accidentally booked for the wrong year and tried the very next day to either change it and pay the extra or cancel given that it was year ahead. No-one answered the phone for ages, then they tried to send me elsewhere to get rid of me and said I had to go through Hotels.com. When I went through hotel.com they didn’t engage with them either. I ultimately rebooked and raised the accidental booking again with reception when I arrived. I was told to come back the next day and ask. The manager wasn’t anywhere and hadn’t left a note/ asked them to call or email me. Chased that up. Still to this date I haven’t had contact about whether I can get a refund or change dates. This was clearly an accidental booking.

Awful overpriced hotel. So disappointed Overpriced for a shoddy hotel. Room just wasted space of blank walls. Very poorly designed . Paid for a Premier room and total waste of money. 3 lights not working, outdated and cheap furniture that is not fit for purpose. No ironing board etc etc. Bed very uncomfortable and probably as olas the hotel! No electric sockets by beds only across the room on a low coffee table. USB sockets old style so can't use them Awful water pressure Who on earth decided these were premier rooms and put such an overinflated price on them. Breakfast passible but on the whole tasteless. I am so disappointed in this hotel, oh yes they take 50 quid deposit from you in case you break something which they will refund.
