Great breakfast, lots to choose.

The room was good and the staff and breakfast were too. But the vibe of the lobby in evening was room for improvement- 24hr bar but BRIGHT lighting, boardgames but the snug felt like a breakout space. Could be so much better!

Hotel and room were excellent; neighboring guests were young and loud. Lots of screaming, laughing , playing music long into the night. We were just too tired to say anything. That won’t prevent us from staying again, but we can tell Canterbury even in winter is a weekend party town.

The hotel is in an excellent location making it easy to get around . The breakfast room isnt particularly big but food was fresh. We were a party of 10 originally, unfortunately one couple couldn't make it due to illness but the hotel still charged in full for the room. This was really disappointing. I get you have rules and i would expect to pay a fee but not the full amount. This was upsetting

Absolutely perfect location and great value

We arrived early on the train and asked if they would watch our bags until check-in. As it turned out, the room was ready even at 10 a.m.! The room was clean and modern with a large television. The bed was comfortable and had quality pillows. Breakfast was bountiful with many choices. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience.

Very clean, good breakfast, excellent staff and a great location with ample parking very near by.

Staff were excellent on arrival and made us feel welcome and valued. The room was clean and serviced everyday with clean towels etc. There was a good selection of food for breakfast but personally I am not a fan of tinned mushrooms or microwaved scrambled egg. I did use the bar for a beer which was pulled from a keg but I refused to drink it as it was flat and clearly the lines had not been "pulled through". Minor and eadily rectifiable things to examine.

Rooms are clean and comfortable, there was a good selection of food choices for breakfast and the staff were all very friendly. Will definitely be back.

Friendly, helpful staff on arrival, late evening and on checking out. We will definitely return when seeing our son at university.

Stayed 2 nights in the hotel with son and husband. Breakfast was great, good variety of everything but maybe choice of bread could be better (more wholegrain/ seeded options) & the toaster was set too low, not toasting bread properly. Waiting staff fantastic, very friendly and efficient, nothing was too much trouble, high praises for Watawan; also on reception Irina was welcoming and looked after us well with a smile. The room was clean, with comfy beds, great shower, exactly like in the pictures. Can't complain and would definitely book the hotel again, it is literally in the city centre, close to main attractions.
