Hampton by Hilton Canterbury

Large room in a great part of the town. Very clean and a great breakfast. Fairly close to the train station. Highly recommend. A pub nearby that shows sport is a plus.

The staff was so friendly and helpful! Great dining recommendations and their new roof top restaurant is WOW with a stunning view of the cathedral. Great stay!

Our 2nd stay here, the hotel is excellent however this time we encountered more noise from the local clubs etc and could hear music through until 2am. Also breakfast seemed chaotic this time with a lack of plates and cutlery.

Excellent hotel right in the heart of Canterbury. Rooms were spacious, clean, and quiet. Staff here are all super friendly and willing to accommodate you.

Fantastic hotel in an amazing location

This is our favorite hotel in Canterbury and stay here every time we are in town. Staff is friendly and helpful. Hotel and rooms are clean too! Breakfast is good and included in cost.

The overall services are good and the two front desk staff Ms. Watawan and Ms. Ness are super helpful and nice, give me free check-out extension due to last minute need from my son.

We stayed here one night to visit the cathedral, and I would stay here again! The staff was so helpful and attentive, the room was comfortable, and the location is great for dining spots and walking to the cathedral. The rooftop bar next door, which (at the time we went) gave discounts to hotel guests, has amazing night views of the cathedral!

Customer service is amazing , special thanks to Louise who went out of her way to resolve the issue with our room booking - the room originally given to us was different from what we believed to have booked based on the picture. Louise went through all the rooms to find one that met our requirement to make our stay perfect.

Dear Hampton Team, Thank you for your hospitality during my recent stay. I truly appreciate the effort put into maintaining clean and comfortable rooms—it made my stay pleasant in many ways. However, I’d like to kindly mention that the noise level, particularly the loud music that continued until almost midnight, made it difficult for me to sleep. As a guest who values a quiet environment for rest, this was quite disruptive. I completely understand that entertainment is part of the guest experience, but I would sincerely appreciate it if future noise levels could be managed, especially during late hours, to ensure all guests can relax undisturbed.
