Breakfast was very good. Lots of options.. Coffee is not great though.

Good stay overall, with the most helpful staff!

Truly a gem in the city centre, from a welcoming multifunctional lobby floor to clean, spacious rooms, a firm bed and a 58” TV. Breakfast buffet covers all the bases (except perhaps for the coffee). Comes with very good (~75MB) WiFi as standard. What’s not to like ??

Great location and comfortable beds

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfreich. Das gesamte Hotel war sehr sauber und gemütlich. Super Frühstücksbuffet und die Lage ist hervorragend! Würde jederzeit wieder dort übernachten.

Huge noise from the roof bar above until midnight. This place is more like a Travelodge with a disco than a Hilton. Room for two was made up with an extra bed we didn’t request. The buffet breakfast was ok, but just ok for the price we paid, I’ve stayed in much better hotels and won’t go here again

The hotel is in an excellent location, close to Canterbury high street and main shops, the staffs are attentive and responsible. Great varieties of breakfast, and the room has everything I need.

We visited Canterbury for the first time to experience the Christmas markets as part of a ladies’ night away, with lots of festive activities planned. The original hotel I had booked fell short in terms of service, so I changed our reservation at the last minute to the Hampton, a decision I’m so glad I made! Even before arrival, communication was excellent. I was kept well informed, particularly regarding parking, and the service already felt warm and welcoming. On arrival, we were quickly accommodated. Louise went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and settled, which made a real difference. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and provided a great night’s sleep. Despite being located on a pedestrian road, the hotel was quiet, with no noise or disturbances on our floor. The location was fantastic for accessing the Christmas markets and local shops. Breakfast was satisfactory, with an average selection and quality. The waffles were a highlight, along with the fresh fruit. The hot chocolate was very popular with the rest of the group. Fried eggs would have been a great addition to the menu. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return. Every member of staff we encountered was polite and pleasant. A special thank you to Louise and the gentleman at checkout for their assistance and fantastic service.

The room was good and the staff and breakfast were too. But the vibe of the lobby in evening was room for improvement- 24hr bar but BRIGHT lighting, boardgames but the snug felt like a breakout space. Could be so much better!

Hotel and room were excellent; neighboring guests were young and loud. Lots of screaming, laughing , playing music long into the night. We were just too tired to say anything. That won’t prevent us from staying again, but we can tell Canterbury even in winter is a weekend party town.
