Great location, great hotel, great staff

I prefer Hampton by Hilton to Premier Inns now and stay in them whenever possible. This one was typical of the brand. Clean, modern, well equipped with excellent friendly staff. And the included breakfast is a real bonus. Great stay. Only thing that would improve life would be a small in room fridge.

Our stay was very nice and the hotel was very good, abit pricey for the one night stay, I guess this is because of the central location, very close to everything in the heart of Canterbury, our only complaint really was the air conditioning was not very good and didn’t cool us down very well, would advise guests to get seated for breakfast early as we made the mistake of having this at 9am and the breakfast area was packed. Overall a really good stay and would go back again.

Nice hotel with A1 staff. Some deferred maintenance and the place looks a bit dated but all in all OK. The breakfast was good and varied. We felt the price was a bit high for the hotel but it appeared to be the best one in the area. Well located and a 20 minute walk from most of the things you want to see. Canterbury East Rail is a short walk away. All good

This hotel was a gem of a find for us. The room was comfortable and quite spacious compared to some we gave stayed in. It was quite central to the historical buildings in the area. The rooftop restaurant had the best view of the cathedral. Breakfast was certainly a bonus. Loved our stay.

We arrived late at night tired hot and hungry.Staff was very welcoming and we were amazed to find they serve freshly made pizza 24 hrs and their bar was open..the cold beer was wonderful.Room great with very good ac which isnt always the case in UK. Next day staff rescued us by getting us a reliable taxi to London when our ride service cancelled us at last minute. Location in old section of Canterbury is perfect. Every single staff member was wonderful. Highly recommend!

Perfectly located hotel for all my needs in the City. Being able to leave my luggage before checking in, and, after checking out was a great bonus, the staff being extremely helpful with everything. Whole hotel was clean, and tidy. Stay again? If visiting Canterbury, yes.

Walkable to shopping and Cathedral

Modern property, clean, and extremely convenient for access to Central Canterbury. Staff were particularly helpful and professional, 24 hour bar with some food. Excellent breakfast. Parking is located a 5 minute walk away as the hotel is a pedestrian area. Good local restaurants and tea shops are a short walk.

部屋は清潔で、空調もしっかり効いていた。洗面台、シャワーの水圧、トイレの水量も十分で、しっかり排水され水回りのトラブルも無かった。電気設備等の不備もなく、快適に過ごせた。朝食について、6時からという案内表示されていたが6時30分になってもまだ準備ができていない日があった。またコーヒーメーカー2台のうち1台は故障しており、パントースター2台のうち1台は不調だった。朝食メニューは品数も多く満足のいく内容だった。冷蔵庫が無いのは残念な点だった。

The staff were lovely and welcoming, and the room was clean on arrival. The hotel was also nice and quiet, which helped us get a good night’s sleep, although we found the bed a little uncomfortable. Unfortunately, the breakfast was disappointing, with very limited options and extremely poor gluten-free choices for my coeliac child. There was no gluten-free bread, biscuits, or muffins available for example . Despite booking breakfast for 9:00 am at check-in, we still had to wait around 10 minutes for a table each morning , which made the booking system seem pointless. Housekeeping could also be improved, as the bedding and pillows often looked rushed and untidy after the room had been serviced. Overall, the friendly staff were the highlight of our stay, but the breakfast and housekeeping standards let the experience down.
