The Marble Arch Hotel, by Thistle

I was in London for work and loved my stay at the hotel. Check-in was incredible and my room was ready early at 11am which was very much appreciated as it really helped me settle before heading to a meeting. The room was lovely, just a shame about the view of a wall, however it was very quiet which is what I asked for. My only notes for improvement would be a slightly firmer pillow (just my own personal preference). Lastly, the scrambled eggs at breakfast were too soft for my liking, I prefer them more well done and breakfast could have been warmer. By the time I got back to my table, most items were cool. I loved my stay though... the service, early readiness of the room and perfect location made for a wonderful stay. Thank you very much and I will most definitely be back.

Large (for London standards) clean room and courteous staff in a centrally located hotel. Great spot for shopping!

Clean room, comfortable bed, great location with everything you need and want just steps away from your door.

Rooms are clean, but staff (except concierge / Bell desk) is a bit rude. The reception staff at the time of check in was quite arrogant. The girls at the time of check out were polite and courteous.

The upgraded room was lovely, bathroom was clean and everything worked, room was spacious and clean. Shower screen did leak but nothing major. Staff were friendly and lots of food and drink options. Great location

The staff was very rude, and short tempered with an attitude when asked for anything. The room layout is not like the photos displayed on the page when booked. The house keeping service was not the best, the rooms were not cleaned properly and utensils and mugs were just rinsed not washed properly with soap as we can see remaining of the grease on the utensils & mugs after the room was cleaned and they were not placed back in their place rather left on the kitchenette sink for us to place back. Towels used and clearly dirty by the kitchen we’re not replaced but rather folded back as if they were new. The toilet was broken and it took maintenance 4 times to fix it throughout our stay. When complained several times they were defensive and making excuses for their staffs actions rather than fixing the issue or apologizing. This was our second time to stay at the hotel, first time at the beginning of the year and it was a good experience so we brought our whole family to stay again, not sure what happened to the kids quality and service! Would not recommend nor would we stay there again!
