⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We stayed at Kempinski in a Deluxe room on 17–18 August with our kids. The room was spacious enough for the three of us without needing an extra bed, and still felt very comfortable. The kids loved the cozy atmosphere, and everything was spotless. Staff were friendly and made the stay feel effortless, always ready to help. Breakfast had plenty of variety and suited both adults and kids. The location is super convenient, and overall the stay was smooth, relaxing, and family-friendly. We’d happily come back again!

We have been staying at this Ascott Thamrin a few times already. We are familiar with the locations, where you can either shop at expensive places like GI or Plaza Indonesia, or a cheaper place like Thamrin City. Options for food/restaurants are varied as well. Transportation is convenient at this location; you can go in many directions from the center of Jakarta, using, for example, MyBluebird, which can be trusted in such a huge city.

Upon checking into this hotel, I have sky-high expectation for both the service and the room. I have passed this hotel several times and really curious on how this well-known hotel doing on their services. I booked a night just to have a good time together with my partner and enjoying our weekend there. Upon arrival, We're greeted with a very warm welcome and they were already offer to brought our belongings, even when it's not really that much stuff. They gave us a very nice welcome drink and the receptionist, Ms. Jesslyn, treated is very well during check-in. Our requests were all fulfilled and really appreciate their attention on the small details. Then when we arrived at the room. We were stunned. It was a neatly oriental-decorated spacious room with tons of cool stuffs, one of the example was the speaker inside our bathroom. Which really gave us an awesome experience on watching movies while indulge in the bath tub. The bed was comfy and the pillows were outstanding. Definitely ranked among our top 5 hotel with the best bed ever! The hotel's facilities are considered complete for the 5-star hotel. It has a very spacious and proper gym court complete with saunas, massage and spa, and also the swimming pool, although the swimming pool is not really that big. They also noticeably fast on our in-room requests. I don't feel any delay as they send our request immediately and they happily gave what we wanted even when it was late in the night. The breakfast also exceptional! They have tons of choices in pastry (I love pastries) and the varieties of cuisines as well. The servers were also very helpful and fulfill all our requested stuffs, even when the restaurant is very packed. Overall, the hotel is really the best choice for whoever wanted to have an awesome experience on staycation in the oriental-themed hotel with nice services! I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The room was very clean and comfortable, and the facilities were top-notch. What made my experience even better was the exceptional service at the front desk. Daffa, the receptionist, was incredibly helpful and welcoming. He made the check-in process smooth and gave great recommendations for things to do in the area. Had been staying here 2 times. A very clean hotel, the room is spacious enough. I requested the high floor and 2 sided windows so I could enjoy the city lights at night and they provided as requested, which is really good. The facilities such as the swimming pool, gym area, are open but there's a limitation of the amount of people inside each facility due to COVID protocol. The food tastes not really good but don't worry, there's a small mall in the building which has lots of well-known tenants such as Ta Wan, Ichiban Sushi, Re. Juve, Bengawan Solo Coffee, etc., and beside the building you can also have Nasi Padang Merdeka for your dinner. Yum!

This hotel is one of the hidden gems of 5 star hotel in Jakarta. The hotel itself are a bit classical modern in design, you have parking lots at the basement, security is great, location is strategic, and the service is awesome. You can get lost pretty easily in this hotel, because of its shaped like a maze, but once you go around couple of times, it should be fine. The food in this hotel's great, although the in room dining is a bit expensive, but the taste are very good. It's room are one of the highlights, its very clean, comfortable, and they provided every amenities that's supposed to be there, or you can ask them to provide you with anything you need. Overall, for its price and its stars, this is one of the best hotels for you to stay because of its features that rivals any 5 star hotels in Jakarta. I will stay here over couple of hotels because I love the hotel!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay — the location was excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful. Check-in and check-out were smooth. However, the room comfort could be improved. The aircond had a slightly musty smell and the cleanliness of the room wasn’t up to expectations. Hopefully, these areas can be improved for a better experience in the future.

Stay was terrible, first room smelt terrible they didnt clean it even though they said they would. Safety box was broken, was moved to a different room afterwards but that also had the same terrible horrific smell. Issue after issue every day - over crowded do not book.
