The hotel was clean, comfortable, and warm. Most importantly, it was very easy to get to Istora within walking distance. So, when I got home late at night from watching the Badminton Indonesia Open, I could just walk to the hotel and rest right away without having to scramble for an online motorcycle taxi. Thank you.

What a nice staycation! Ambiance/Facilities: good vibes, great facilities. Food: delicious and various breakfast options. Staff are helpful. Staff Assistance: helpful and nice. They knew we were going to a concert at GBK area and told us the shortest way without us asking. Highlights: I asked for some additional water, and they came so fast. Price: worth your money. Location: right next to Plaza Senayan, walking distance to GBK area.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Posto Dormire Sudirman, a property that benefits greatly from its highly strategic location within the city. For residents of Jakarta seeking a brief staycation, as well as visitors from outside the capital, the hotel offers excellent accessibility, being conveniently situated near public transport links. This makes it both practical and appealing as a base for a short urban retreat. One of the most compelling aspects of the experience reveals itself towards the early evening. As dusk begins to settle and the skies remain clear, I would highly recommend making your way up to the rooftop. From this vantage point, one is treated to a striking panorama of Jakarta’s skyline, where towering buildings gradually illuminate the city with a captivating display of lights. It is an atmosphere that lends itself beautifully to quiet appreciation, casual dining, or simply capturing memorable photographs. The rooftop experience is further enhanced by the presence of a jacuzzi and sauna, both thoughtfully positioned to take full advantage of the surrounding views. The temperature of the facilities is well calibrated, offering a soothing and relaxing experience. Do note, however, that these amenities require prior booking, which is advisable to ensure availability. My husband fainted in the garden, and the staff immediately helped us with a wheelchair, first aid kit, and helped us check out.
