Staff was very helpful and friendly the hotel was very nice and warm and clean the only down was there no lifts but I will say there again and 10 minutes away from the railway & bus station and thanks to all at the hotel for a great time.

No working lift and had to walk up 6 flights of stairs. No soap or shampoo in room, couldn’t wash hands let alone use the shower. Asked for double bed and was told I had one but it was 2 singles “zip and locked” together so there was an uncomfortable ridge in the middle. Took my issues to manager in morning and had no apology, it was like playing tennis, she just batted each complaint back.

Lifts not working. A lot of stairs to walk to get to room. My partner has a number of health issues. Room dated and not premium that I payed for. Pillows uncomfortable. Light fixings loose on wall. Funny smells throughout hotel. Pictures on site do not match what you get. No aircon in room just a fan. Will not stay again

The room was beautifully clean although a bit dated. Neither lifts were working and we were on the 3rd floor so had to climb 71 stairs. The staff were really friendly, efficient and helpful.

This is an old run-down hotel, where corporate ownership is not investing a penny. Very bad, everything old, looks dirty, maybe is dirty; don’t stay there! Many steps, no elevator, room totally run down, old stuff, bathroom from the 18th century; No heat in the room! Staff is trying a little bit, without change of the actual situations. Asked for a cappuccino at the bar; answer: the coffee is frozen, maybe later. 6 hours later; answer: the coffee still is frozen, machine can’t make coffee products. This shows the attitude from the majority of the people. Avoid at all cost!! There are so many other, better options around.
