We stayed here after a gig at Cardiff castle and could not have had a closer hotel!! The room was large and the bed was extremely comfortable. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. The room was a little dated but everything in our room worked

Fantastic location in the city centre. Original features of the building have been kept. We had a large quiet room with a bath and over bath shower, rooms are comfortable but probably in need of some refurbishment. Good breakfast and friendly bar staff. The hotel advertises as having a car park but no longer has one. Using the recommended “just park” app the local NCP car park is 5 minutes walk away and greatly reduced using this app. The hotel really needs to update its website to show no parking available on site We had a lovely stay and the location for a concert on the park was great

Stayed here previously and hotel is in an ideal location for exploring Cardiff. The hotel has become tired over the years though with some decorative and amenity issues. Only one lift was working which as I was on the third floor meant a wait most times. My room was very hot with just a fan to cool things down. The window was so dirty you could hardly see out of it. The redeeming factor is the staff who are so helpful and friendly.

Beautiful hotel just needs a bit of tlc to bring it back to it's former glory. Absolutely will be staying again on our next trip.
