Syamsudin Noor International Airport, code BDJ, is the main airport of South Kalimantan and the gateway to Banjarmasin. It is run by InJourney Airports and shares the site with an Indonesian Air Force base.
The field began as a Dutch-built airstrip in 1936. It was later named after Syamsudin Noor, an Indonesian Air Force pilot, and moved to civilian use in the 1970s.
