Halim Airport (HLP), officially Halim Perdanakusuma International Airport, is Jakarta's second airport. It is in Kramat Jati, East Jakarta, and InJourney Airports runs the civil terminal. The airport shares its airfield with Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base. Passengers use a single civil passenger terminal, and scheduled passenger flights here are domestic. Jakarta's main airport is Soekarno Hatta International Airport (CGK) in Tangerang, so check which Jakarta airport your ticket shows before you travel.

Passenger terminal (domestic)

All civil passenger flights at HLP use the one terminal, so there is no transfer between buildings. The schedule tables further down this page show which airlines have upcoming flights, and your e-ticket shows the airline operating yours.

The terminal has been renovated. Ask staff in the terminal about lounges, prayer rooms, parking and other services available on the day.

Getting to and from Halim Airport

Halim sits inside the city, and several bus, rail and road options connect it with Jakarta and nearby towns. Journey times depend heavily on Jakarta traffic. Fares are shown at the counter or in the app.

Shuttle to Halim station: high-speed rail and LRT

A shuttle bus runs from the airport terminal to the Halim station complex. From there you can take the Jakarta–Bandung high-speed railway towards Bandung or ride the Jabodebek LRT into Jakarta and its suburbs.

DAMRI airport bus

DAMRI airport buses leave from the terminal for Bogor, stopping at Botani Square, and for other cities nearby.

Transjakarta Mikrotrans feeder routes

Mikrotrans (JakLingko) minibuses, including route JAK 20, stop at Gereja Oikumene, a short walk from the terminal. They serve nearby neighbourhoods as part of the JakLingko network.

Taxi and ride-hailing

Official airport taxis wait inside the terminal area. Other taxis and app-based ride-hailing pick up outside the terminal, so follow the signs once you leave the building.

Tips for flying from Halim Airport
