Perth Airport (PER) serves Perth in Western Australia. The airport’s four main terminals sit in two precincts: T1/T2 and T3/T4. Both precincts handle passenger departures, but they are separated by a road journey. Read the terminal on your e-ticket before choosing a train stop or making plans for a connection.
Singapore Airlines’ SilverKris Lounge is at T1 International, while the Qantas Club is at T4. Lounge entry depends on the airline’s eligibility conditions. Confirm your entitlement against the flight you are taking and stay in the precinct needed for boarding; access to one lounge does not make it suitable for every itinerary.
Self-service luggage lockers are available at T1 International, T2, T3 and T4. Attended baggage storage is available at T1 International and T4. Choose a storage point that fits your departure terminal, and review the size and collection conditions before leaving a bag.
Keep passports, tickets and anything needed for the next part of your journey with you. If you plan to return to collect stored luggage before a flight, include that stop in your airport arrival plan. Moving to a different precinct may add another step to the collection journey.
Singapore Airlines, Scoot, Malaysia Airlines and AirAsia are among the airlines at T1. Virgin Australia also uses T1 for domestic services. Qantas services to Christmas Island and the Cocos (Keeling) Islands use T1; do not choose a terminal solely from the airline name when checking a Qantas booking.
T2 handles domestic flights, with airlines including Alliance Airlines, Nexus Airlines and Rex. Jetstar and Virgin Australia are also listed at T2. Since these airlines can appear in more than one airport terminal, read the specific terminal shown for your flight.
T3 handles both international and domestic flights, with Qantas and Airnorth listed there. T4 handles domestic Qantas flights. The T3/T4 precinct has different rail access from T1/T2, making the terminal detail important even when you are travelling with the same airline as on a previous visit.
Perth Airport also has a separate General Aviation precinct, used by operators including Skippers Aviation. If your booked flight uses General Aviation, follow that booking’s specific location and check-in instructions rather than heading to one of the four main terminals.
A terminal transfer shuttle connects the T1/T2 and T3/T4 precincts by road. For a connection, first establish whether the next departure is in the same precinct. Ask the airline how to handle your baggage and whether you must complete another check-in process before choosing the transfer.
Allow time for the road transfer and the procedures for the onward flight. Do not plan a connection around a single fixed transfer time. Keep both flight numbers and terminal details readily available so you can confirm the next part of the journey before leaving the arrival area.
Airport Central station is connected by the Skybridge to T1 and T2. The Airport Line links this station with Perth Station in the city centre. For a flight from T1 or T2, follow the airport signs after leaving the train and continue to the terminal named on your booking.
For T3 and T4, use the Airport Line to Redcliffe station and connect with bus Route 292. Check the direction and current journey information before boarding. When travelling into Perth from these terminals, use the bus connection to reach Redcliffe for the onward train.
Compare flights from PER on Traveloka by travel date and itinerary. Read the airline, connections and baggage arrangements before choosing a flight. After booking, use the terminal stated on your e-ticket to organise rail access, storage and any transfer within Perth Airport.
Check flight status on Traveloka and any messages from your airline before setting out for Perth Airport.
