Seletar Airport (XSP) is Singapore's business and general aviation airport, and it also handles a small number of scheduled commercial flights. It is in the Seletar Aerospace Park, at 21 Seletar Aerospace Road 1, in the north-eastern part of Singapore. The airport is owned by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore and managed by Changi Airport Group. There is one passenger terminal, used for international flights, since Singapore has no domestic routes. For almost every other scheduled flight out of Singapore you will use Singapore Changi Airport (SIN) instead.
Because so few passenger flights use Seletar, the terminal is compact and quiet. This guide explains which airline you can book from XSP, how to get there by bus, taxi or car, what facilities to expect, and when to arrive.
The single passenger terminal handles all of Seletar's scheduled flights. According to the airport's commercial flights page, the scheduled passenger airline here is:
Firefly also operates from Changi Airport, so Seletar is not its only Singapore base. When you book a Firefly flight, check which Singapore airport the ticket names before you set out. Outside these scheduled services, Seletar's main role is business and general aviation.
Seletar is not on the MRT network, but a bus connects it to nearby North East Line stations. Fares are shown on the bus, at the stand or in the app you use.
Bus 102 stops at the Seletar Airport Terminal on Seletar Aerospace Road 2. It links the airport with Hougang, Buangkok and Sengkang MRT stations on the North East Line, so you can change to the train for the rest of your trip.
The taxi stand is just outside the Departure Hall, and taxis run 24 hours. A taxi is the simplest option if you have luggage or are heading to the city centre.
Ride-hailing apps including Grab, Gojek, Tada and Ryde use the Arrival pick-up point outside the terminal.
By car, Seletar is reached from the Tampines Expressway (Exit 12), the Central Expressway (Exit 1) or the Seletar Expressway (Exit 1B). For navigation, the postal code is 797405. The car park is small with limited spaces, available on a first come, first served basis and paid through the electronic parking system. If you are being dropped off, that is often easier than finding a space.
Seletar's facilities match its size. The airport lists only a handful of services, so plan as you would for a short regional trip and bring what you need.
A coffee outlet serves passengers; the airport names a single kopi kiosk. Eat beforehand if you want a full meal.
An automated currency exchange kiosk is in the public area of the Arrival Hall, useful if you need some foreign currency before you go.
Free WiFi is available in both the public and transit areas.
Smokers can use the Arrival Hall kerbside or the area in the gate holdroom.
The information and customer service counter lends wheelchairs and strollers, first come, first served.
Check-in counters at Seletar open at least 2 hours before the flight, and you should check in at least 1 hour before departure. Miss that cut-off and you may not be able to board, so leave time for traffic on the way. Entry rules for Malaysia are set by the authorities there, so check the official guidance for your passport before travelling.
For live departure and arrival information, use the Traveloka flight status page.
The fare cards and flight schedule tables on this page show upcoming flights by date, with the airline and scheduled times, so you can compare options for your dates. They are a selection rather than a complete timetable. Set a Price Alert if you want Traveloka to tell you when a fare changes.
Routes from Singapore you can compare on Traveloka include the ones below. Apart from the Subang service, these flights generally leave from Changi rather than Seletar, so check the departure airport on each result.
If a quiet terminal in the north-east suits you better than the crowds at Changi, compare flights from Seletar Airport on Traveloka and book with confidence.
