Depati Amir Airport also called as Pangkal Pinang Airport, is a local airport in Indonesia situated in Pangkal Pinang on Bangka Island, part of Bangka Belitung Islands area. PT has run the airport. Angkasa Pura II since early January 2007. It was initially named Pangkal pinang Airport built since the Japanese living in 1942 as a defence against enemy soldiers. In agreement with the letter of the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Transportation. 378 / TLK / DEPHUB / VIII / 85 dated 22 August 1985 the name of the airport was switched to the airport. Based on the Decree of the Minister of Transportation No. SK.1 / AU.106 / PHB-99 dated 25 August 1999, Pangkal pinang Airport was switched to Amir Bangka Airport, which is a UPT from Vertical Institution of Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Transportation Indonesia. There is no flight available from Changi International Airport to Depati Amir Airport until the present.
