Hotel Chrome Montreal

Room was spotless but the smell from the industrial cleaner used is giving me and my daughter a headache. Staff very nice

Clean and staff

I stayed in two different rooms due to a separate booking. Overall this hotel seems to be a bit old, but for staying for a night or two can be bearable. You get what you paid for, so no fancy stuff. But they had a nice fridge and a microwave. FYI, this hotel charges you CA200 for deposit per booking, and CA4 per baggage a day if you want them to keep before/after your stay. Wi-Fi was working, not super but adequately. The location was good. I could walk to all the major spots (the Basilica, Old Port, China Town, Eaton Shopping Center, Via Rails Station). The staff were a bit frank but helpful (especially the lady at the reception was nice and friendly). The first room that I was assigned had a carpet and a big sofa with fabric, which created a smell like someone had puked in the room and humid and unpleasant atmosphere, the closet’s slide door was coming off and one of the side lamps beside the bed couldn’t be switched on. The bedsheets and towels look clean, which was the relief of the night. The second room was with flooring instead of carpets, which was way better with no strange smell or humidity. Unfortunately, I saw some hairs on the shower towel, and one of the bed lamps was not working again (maybe there’s no electricity running on that side since it’s the same side..?). However, the rest was fine and felt better than the first room. To sum up, I’m not sure if I would choose here again, but at least here would be better than staying cold outside.

Staff was fine, parking is a disaster, and room was ok

Dirty everything, foul smell in the hallway and elevator, extremely misleading images on Hotels.com and when we arrived late in the evening there was a lady of the night soliciting in the lobby with hotel staff not doing anything about it

Not so great

Hotel front desk process wa smooth. No issues communicating in English at the front desk. Room and bathroom were clean. Our room had microwave and fridge which was a welcome surprise as we didn't see them when we were booking the room.

Hotel is well located, staff is very helpful. Room is decent. It is downtown Montreal and very walkable. Very enjoyable stay/ I will be back.

The room was a bit dirty, although it was fine overall. The staff were nice and helpful, though.

Spotless,floors sheets , great tv channels, and apps, heat worked, staff nice but work hard, close to amenities, desjarding centre, fast food, area a bit dangerous at night but so is most of montreal, enjoyed my time at a good price

Everything is perfect

Heater wasn’t working so room was very cold. Nobody came to fix it. Everything else was okay

Never recommend as they don’t have on spot parking facilities. Need to walk almost 10 mins to parking spot and that too is a paid parking which we have to spend from our pocket apart from the amount which we already paid for hotel accommodation

Great staff, good service and good location.

Broken lamps, leaking shower, horrible check in, would not honor service dog laws of the province, was talked down to.
