What Guests Say About Their Stay

The hotel was in a useful location, not too far from the Metro and within walking distance to both tourist areas and conference venues. The restaurant was closed during my visit, but plenty of nearby options for breakfast or dinner were available. Check-in staff were friendly and helpful, while checkout staff couldn't provide an invoice (they told me to check the Expedia website, which didn't itemize anything, but couldn't provide anything themselves). The room was spacious and clean, with minor scuff marks in places; the bathroom was well-stocked with essentials. The wall-mounted AC unit only cooled, but once I learned that there were baseboard heaters for heating, things went well (though the thermostats overestimate values). The room was fairly quiet, except on Saturday nights, when neighbours returned from parties and continued a bit indoors; outside traffic was barely noticeable (except for ambulances from CHUM, which were expected). Overall, it was good value for money, and I'd stay there again.

Excellent location in the heart of Old Montreal. I have mobility issues and that was not a problem, there are elevators and easy access. There are so many walkable sites from this Hotel and excellent food options as well. There is a direct bus from the airport to this Hotel and this was our preferred mode of transportation to other sites. This Hotel is also within walking distance of the underground city which is an interesting place! Definitely enjoyed this Hotel, it was very quiet, did not hear other guests!

Staff was trying. However there is obviously no investment in this place. It is about one step from being a homeless shelter. Very minimal, even for a budget hotel. Only stay here if you plan on sleeping 6 drunk teenagers into one room.flop house at best. For an extra $10 a night you get so much more somewhere else. Seedy and scary.

The Wifi was faulty, and did not work on the tv at all. The bed was pretty hard and somewhat difficult to sleep in. It was also pretty cold and there weren't many blankets. Other than that, I had no issues and had an excellent stay.

The front of house staff were unfriendly, unhelpful and did not seem happy with their jobs. All became clear on checkout when I asked the new lady on reception who was the Manager. It turned out to be her and her band was EDWIGE. I asked to leave my luggage and was told that would be 4$. NEVER HAVE I EVER BEEN ASKED by a hotel that I have been staying in to pay for them holding luggage…. I asked on the first day for my bedside lamp to be sorted as it was not working. Two of the front desk said it would be done but it was not attended to. Both shower pressure and temperature needs attention, also lavatory flush. Each time I came down to reception there was another guest who had a problem/ complaint. The drinks case in the foyer only took coins and not credit cards. Reception had no coins. The manager was not interested in knowing about her complaints, in fact refused to give me her full name and hotel email so that I could document the problems I had experienced. I credit her behaviour with why the front of house staff are so depressed and lacking any charm. I don’t often write bad reviews bug this hotel needs to up its game.

Perfect location to stay close to what Montreal has to offer. Price was reasonable BUT parking is NOT INCLUDED $32 PER DAY that included taxes lol. However i was very disappointed with the condition of my 1st room for example rust in the bathtub, washroom door couldn't close plus our bed sheets had hair right beside the pillow and the other bed had eyebrows, when we went to complain they didn't want to check instead they gave us clean sheets for us to replace and to speak with the manager in the morning?! So next day went to speak the manager she dismissed me she didn't gave a crap we had to stay another but she didn't bother offering a discount or free parking. She looked at me like I was a no body and I probably was just lying to get a discount...so I rented another room which was much better ....elevators 1st day were dirty and they are both run down ,bar/ restaurant was closed for renovation what wasn't mentioned in the website by the way. Over all I give 3 stars 🌟 just because of the location and the young man that works there in the morning that was very friendly. Otherwise night shift lady waa very cold and rude and the manager the same. Not a place I would stay again i prefer paying more and be treated with respect...

Standard room doesn’t have a lot of things… The room claimed to have shampoo and conditioner on the website however it is just the 2 in 1 shampoo and body wash in a soap dispenser.. housekeeping is every 3 days unless requested and there is no coffee or kettle in the room. There is a fridge though. We also asked to store our luggage there and they charged us $4 each bag - this should be a standard complimentary service, this is the first hotel that has charged me to store my luggage before check in.
