We stayed for 2 nights and i was impressed with the hotel. The staff were brilliant and couldn't do enough for you. Breakfast was really good and selection was plentiful. The only down side was the parking £15 a day i think they should review that policy but overall A+++

Love the hotel room the four poster bed with the lake view. Great location, very close to the shopping area, cafes, bars, restaurants & the lake. Breakfast need to improve, very standard, not many options. We extended our stay, but we were little bit disappointed how the house keeping tidy up our bed. Should be the same quality as we checked in, not very tidy as supposed to be, specially with the room we paid.

We had stayed at the Belsfield before the pandemic, and thought it was a lovely hotel, but I haven’t stayed there since as it was just a bit too expensive. However we got a good deal for our two nights in February, so jumped at the chance to make a booking. I then I read the reviews! And a lot, especially from last year were not very positive at all, so we did not have high expectations when we arrived. However, we were very pleasantly surprised our room (number 45) was a lovely big family room with a large modern bathroom and it just had a lovely feel to it. Breakfast was great and they were very accommodating and the staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay. The only negative from when we visited the first time was having to pay for parking, but I suppose it is such a premium in Bowness, and when you think about it, you would have to pay that if you stayed in a city centre hotel.

Great location and public areas comfortable and inviting, however the lake view room was smaller than expected and too warm. (The radiator couldn’t be turned down however there was air conditioning in the room but it seems environmentally unfriendly to have the heating and cooling working against each other). I do object to having to pay an additional £30 to park the car in the hotel car park for our 2 night stay. As I have previously stated the hotel is in a great location but I wouldn’t stay again as I don’t think it was good value for money.

Beautiful old building overlooking the lake, service and meals were excellent. Would of liked a room with a view instead of the alleyway and roofs

Everything about our stay was good. My only complaint relates to hotel car parking at £15 per day. this in itself is very expensive and does not seem justified when paying for accommodation and food.

A great location. Reasonable price and service. Picked this hotel over others as it offered parking. Disappointed to find this was an extra cost and not included in the price. Would probably pick somwhere else next time for this reason.
