Hi, I'm from Indonesia. My stay here was very memorable. The hotel room was clean, the facilities were great, there was laundry service, a delicious breakfast, and it was close to shops, groceries, restaurants, and the train station. I've stayed here more than five times.

Sleep well, unplug all the time, good location near the restaurant, convenience store, hotel. Walking distance to Ueno Station. It is a beautiful hotel. Modern Japanese Style The bathroom can be soaked in warm water. Like the set that the hotel provides. Especially skin care in the bathroom. Use good skin, not rash, not peel, not dry impression.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful with check-in. They apparently understood that we were first-timers abroad. The best part was the location, as it was close to the station and had many halal restaurants nearby.

APA Hotel Ueno Ekiminami has a superb location and is very convenient for exploring Tokyo. The hotel is within easy walking distance of both Ueno Station and Okachimachi Station, giving you convenient access to different train and subway lines. There are also plenty of restaurants, shops, and attractions around the area. The check-in process was straightforward, efficient, and fast. The staff were helpful and willing to answer our questions, which made everything easier, especially when navigating Tokyo as visitors. Overall, the excellent location is definitely one of the strongest points of this hotel. With convenient transportation, plenty of dining and shopping options nearby, an efficient check-in process, and helpful staff, APA Hotel Ueno Ekiminami is a very practical choice for staying in Tokyo. Highly recommended!

Very good location near the Akebonobashi station, walking distance. The hotel is in an alley, 5 minutes away from the station as a residence. Therefore, the night is not lonely. There are restaurants, cafes, seven and pharmacies that are quite large (and tax free for tourists). The area is very convenient. New hotels and rooms are considered wide. Because we booked a 4 bed room There is still space to place all 4 large luggage. Conclusion Like clean, new, peaceful. Good location. If going to Tokyo, probably would stay again.

Yasukuni Shrine is a significant landmark in Tokyo, known for its serene atmosphere and historical importance. It's a place that draws many visitors, both local and international, who are interested in learning all about Japan's past and experiencing a unique cultural site.

The shrine's popularity stems from its role in commemorating those who died in service of Japan. While it's a place of reflection and remembrance, it also offers beautiful gardens and traditional architecture, making it a compelling destination for tourists seeking a deeper understanding of Japanese history and culture.

Opening Hours & Best Time to Visit Yasukuni Shrine (Japan)

Planning your visit to Yasukuni Shrine? Knowing the opening hours and the best time to visit will help you make the most of your experience. Here's what you need to know to ensure a smooth and memorable trip.

  • Opening Hours: The shrine is generally open from 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM. However, these hours can vary slightly depending on the time of year, so it's always a good idea to check the official website for the most up-to-date information.
  • Best Time to Visit:
    • Weekdays vs. Weekends: Weekdays are generally less crowded than weekends, offering a more peaceful experience.
    • Time of Day: Arriving early in the morning, shortly after the shrine opens, is often the best way to avoid the larger crowds that tend to gather later in the day.
    • Seasonal Considerations: Spring (March-May) and autumn (September-November) are particularly beautiful times to visit, as the gardens are in full bloom or displaying vibrant fall colours. However, these are also peak tourist seasons, so expect more visitors.
    • Busy Periods: Avoid visiting during major Japanese holidays, such as Golden Week (late April to early May) and the Obon festival (mid-August), as the shrine can become very crowded.
  • Estimated Visit Duration: Allow approximately 2-3 hours to fully explore the shrine grounds, including the Yushukan museum.
