Esther S. rated it 10/10 and gave a review “The hotel was very good. At the first time we got in the lobby, it is like a playground. My son was so happy to try all the lego provided there. I have a pirate themed room. The room was spacious and the interior was so detail. This room can accommodate 5-6 person since it had 1 large bed and 3 bunk beds. There were a box of lego and treasure hunt box that can be played by our kids. The breakfast was also complete and good. My kids want to come back to this hotel again. Very recommended for the family travelling with kids.”
Tracy M. rated it 10/10 and gave a review “Very satisfied with the service (staffs are very friendly) and room. very clean and most important thing, this is the first Non-Smoking Hotel we've ever stayed. we stayed for 2 nights and decide to extend another night. thank you Amari. one more thing, it is very near to Immigration Check Point (if you are from Spore) and just opposite Komtar mall.”
Pan X. rated it 10/10 and gave a review “Great for its location where it 's about a 5-10 min drive from the causeway and right next to the mall. There 's lots to do at the mall. Wide range for breakfast selection. Check in on a Friday afternoon 2pm was done swiftly and room was available and it includes a free welcome drink.”

Nor N. Z. rated it 10/10 and gave a review “Superb hotel Superb service!!! Very special Thank You to a very outstanding staff at your restaurant. I had a very enjoyable breakfast and was very well served by Syam! He was very friendly and ever so helpful. Always recomending the food and also atrending to my mother in law and also kids. He really gave us an outstanding service and he made our trip to DoubleTree much more memorable! Me and my family already miss the overall experience and will definitely be back again!”
Muhammad A. rated it 10/10 and gave a review “Its location is quite close to shopping centres and JB Sentral immigration checkpoint. The staffs are friendly. The variety of the breakfast menu was just nice. Very convenient for those who travel with family. The rate was really good value for money.”
Syahrial T. rated it 10/10 and gave a review “Nice hotel with good amenities. The check in is simple and fast. The living room is spacious and the water works perfectly. Breakfast was provided in a nice little cafe downstairs, the food is nice with nasi lemak and sambal as the star. The egg station could've been better though, my scrambled eggs almost look like an omelette. Location is within walking distance to Legoland theme park, which is the main reason for us to pick it. A small mall near the apartment is a big plus. The park leading to there is also nice for a stroller with baby.”
Three-star hotels offer comfortable accommodation with basic facilities, such as standard rooms and limited food services. Although not as luxurious as four or five-star hotels, you can try a comfortable lodging alternative at a more affordable price by booking a three-star hotel on Traveloka now.
Vinod V. rated it 10/10 and gave a review “It great room for that price, highly recommended”
Joanne P. H. J. rated it 9.1/10 and gave a review “The deluxe room came with 2 king size bed, firm and new to my liking. We had s good night rest. But the head pillow was too soft. Only 4 pillows provided. Quilt cover, bedsheet had stains that cannot be removed. There was also a strand of hair on the head pillow cover. No bedroom slippers. A good powerful hair dryer, thick new bath towels, hand towels and face towel provided along with toiletries- toothbrush, comb, razor, shampoo, shower gel, vanity set. Tv channels were clear and able to receive channels from sg. Aircon worked well and was cold enough. Curtains had 2 layers-day and black out curtains. A safe inside the wardrobe, 4-5 hangers which wasn’t sufficient for us family of 4 to hang our clothing. Complimentary coffee and tea. Anyone can access the lift to the hotel level- they should install a card access for guest only. Plenty of eateries around the area, crowded during weekend. 7-11 across the street. Overall, I would return to stay.”
Chang P. S. rated it 8.7/10 and gave a review “A new hotel, so facade is modern, clean and new. Location is central, and a few minutes walk to Aeon, Macs, convenience stores, local eateries etc. Daily housekeeping was prompt and efficient. However, check in was slow and delayed as the receptionist wanted a hard copy of my booking confirmation. A screen capture the form on my phone was not accepted. Beside that, I was rather startled when I found that the main entrance doors locked (at 10 pm). I thought I had booked myself into a hotel in some high-crime areas. Fortunately I was wrong and further observation of the neighbourhood in the next few days proved that it is safe and locking the entrance at night is just a safety precaution. I will definitely stay here again in future.”

The room will be exclusive if they install full floor board or vinyl! Breakfast is tasty & for me the buffet spread is okay as long as it tasty and suits the taste. I really like the Sambal bawang for nasi lemak.. 😱😱feel like want to stay again because of the sambal. The staff either from front desk, as well as janitor are always helpful and full of courtesy. Nice hotel, definitely will come again. The hotel has 3 outdoor pools, suitable for kids, we are really enjoyed here”

Johan S. rated it 9.7/10 and gave a review “This is my first time to sleep in guesthouse,a little awkward because I am not used to sharing place or room with other people in the bedroom,it seems strange 😁 but this is my review of jb_guesthouse memory is perfect for a backpacker like me,with a rental cheap price but everything is ok 👍 although only use the fan but the circumstances in the house is not hot and the host is so friendly especially GAN (thanks for the invitation of the 2018 CNY dinner). someday when I go to johor bahru again I will definitely stop here again 😙 the thing that is missing about guesthouse memory is to find food to suit your taste. for everything, comfort/location/cleanliness/food /service I give score. 8.5 very well and worth it.”
Ani R. rated it 8.5/10 and gave a review “It was my first time ever to be in Johor Bahru. The receptionist guy was very nice, friendly & helpful, for sure. I asked for upgrading my room & he offered me the most suitable as I wanted, and also really informative regarding facility information & he lent me a charger (my universal charger plug didn't work). Room was okay; clean & tidy, comfortable enough so far. It served standard room facility like mineral water in a jug, coffee & sugar. The bathroom, no comment, just okay. The bed, cozy & comfy like I could sleep 24 hours. Thank you!”
Reja rated it 8.5/10 and gave a review “The cheapest hotel and the best place I have ever stayed in this world. Can you imagine this family runs the business and all family members especially the granny smiles and are friendly. I don't know if it were their staff (saw one Indian woman) who might look frowning to me but if the family members. They make the hotel great, the receptionist feels warm and the room is great and big, it has what it takes to stay, instead of staying in the dorm or hostel. Oh gosh here you can stay alone and the room is so big. With cheapest price in the city, may be in the world, the air con and wifi worked very well. I stayed during my last night here at JB but previously I took 2N at this hotel too. I'm surely coming back.”
