Staff was great, room was spectacular

The room and staff are great. My only concern was that I purchased the breakfast as an add on when I booked the room, and I found out that my fellow traveling companions didn’t purchase the breakfast and planned to have breakfast outside the hotel. I believe the breakfast plan was an add on purchase that didn’t affect the room rate. When asked if I could get a refund for 4 of the 5 days, I was told that it was part of the booking package and was not eligible for a refund. If the breakfast is truly an add on purchase, then I believe I should have the option to cancel as it doesn’t affect the room rate. It’s not the end of the world, but I feel as if I am wasting 4 days of breakfast costs as I will not be utilizing the food service. I want to try other local breakfast options to truly experience the local culture. If the breakfast purchase didn’t affect the cost of the rest of my booking, then I feel I should be able to be refunded, especially since the pre purchased cost was roughly the same price if I purchased at the time of consumption. If the pre purchase is discounted, then I should be able to be refunded at the discounted rate. I believe there should be some flexibility considering this is the hospitality industry. Again, the staff was very polite and just doing their job, but perhaps the corporate policy might be amenable so patrons do not feel like they are wasting money. Thank you for your concern.

Self serve laundry was a plus until the bill came . $65 usd for 3 loads of self serve laundry was way overpriced . Other than that the hotel is nice .

Front desk lady is not very welcoming. Good location and I like their spacious rooms. However, there is no special customized service I guess it’s okay for the price.

The area around the hotel is good, with many large shopping centers within walking distance. However, I was very disappointed with the hotel’s facilities. There was poor ventilation, the staff service was lacking, and even basic amenities such as the hairdryer were not strong enough

Breakfast is above and beyond your standard American breakfast package deal. The hotel and room are impeccably designed with a spectacular shower, comfortable bed, and a nice mini-kitchen. My only complaint as with many hotels is that I wish there were more drawers so I didn’t have to live out of my suitcase. A great stay otherwise!

The hotel is within walking distance to a major shopping area in Taipei. The room is spacious and has a kitchenette. The staff is excellent. Will consider staying at this hotel again.

Clean room with convenience of microwave, stove and refrigerator. It is close to subway, express bus terminal, shopping, seven-11 and restaurants.

Dear Manager I recently stayed at Hannes house from 6 Nov to 8 Nov, and I would like to share some feedback regarding the amenities and sustainability practices observed during my visit. I understand and appreciate the hotel’s initiative to reduce environmental impact by limiting the provision of items such as toothpaste, slippers, and bottled water. However, I was surprised to find that despite this green initiative, there were no recycling facilities available in the room. This inconsistency raises concerns about the overall effectiveness and transparency of the sustainability policy. As a guest, I fully support environmentally responsible practices, but I believe they should be implemented in a thoughtful and comprehensive manner. The absence of basic amenities without alternative solutions or clear communication can negatively affect the guest experience. I hope you will consider reviewing these practices to ensure they align more consistently with your sustainability goals, and that future guests are provided with clearer guidance and appropriate facilities to support these efforts. Great property, but service can be improved.

The room was clean, but surprisingly no bidet in the toilet unlike most Taipei hotels. Other than that, the hotel is centrally located in the heart of busy Taipei city, right across City Hall station and many shopping malls.
