We picked up a daily newspaper. Great restaurant on site. Loved the very large hot tub. And cooled off in the indoor swimming pool. Walked down the street to Pendray Tea house for a brunch tea. This hotel has a great vibe and soooo close to inner harbour, walking distance to everything we wanted to do on this short trip. We will be back again.

This was a fabulous place to stay, Price is in Victoria for astounding so, although this was expensive, it was reasonable in comparison to other hotels. It is an older place and there is no air-conditioning and the elevator is, but these are really the only downfalls. The staff was absolutely amazing, helpful and kind. The location was perfect for downtown sightseeing. I would definitely recommend this to others.

If you prefer older motels/hotels without air conditioning and no balcony, then this place is perfect for you. I gave this place a try, but unfortunately, the staff and hotel did not meet my expectations. I arrived early, to see if any room was available. The couple ahead had no issues, but the gentlemen that helped me really did not help and lacked customer service and was somewhat rude and dismissive. You could tell he was just wanting to say NO and carrying an attitude. I will not be recommending this place to friends and colleagues.You are better off staying at the Huntington Manor with the mice. As someone who travels 3 weeks a month, this place is a disappointment. I always wanted to stay here and enjoy the character of an older vacation spot, but this place failed in every aspect of my 1 night stay.

This is a quiet hotel in the middle of Victoria downtown. It’s our second time. The kitchenette was unexpected , located away from the bedroom. The sofa was a bit hard . Wifi was weak but you can use the computer in the basement. Also the laundry room is on the ground floor.

Great location, but very dated. The hotel is quite old and has a slightly musty smell, though it wasn’t a dealbreaker. They seem to just maintain the old facilities rather than update them, so don't expect much. However, the location is excellent.

This hotel is in a great location, close to all the tourist spots, lots of great restaurants. It’s old grandma charm. I loved that the windows opened to get fresh air in the room. The bed was comfortable and Floyd's was a great spot to have breakfast. I would stay again for sure.
