Great hotel and the best central location in London. However, the rooms are very small. I booked the extra space comfort room and it was still too small. But overall very clean and modern. Had a great breakfast on the 10th floor!

Room was good. Small, but we expected that. We moved to this hotel from another budget hotel in the area where we had a bad experience. Assembly was much better. Our only complaint was the bed was not very comfortable and after a long few days traveling, it would have been nice to have a great mattress to sleep on. Especially given how small the rooms are. All in all, not bad!

Lied about having air conditioning. Didn’t give a new room when we said AC was broken. Room is extremely small. Had to get another hotel this place is NOT GOOD! Do NOT waste your money many other better hotels in the area.

At first glance, this looks like a conveniently located, fairly-priced hotel, tourist-friendly hotel. It is not. The theme of the hotel is completely x-rated and absolutely not appropriate for two family members to stay in, in any way. The street the hotel is on is very rough with transient people living in alcoves. It’s dark and poorly marked and seems to cater to a certain clientele. In addition, the hotel advertises free cancellation but you need to check the fine print for how long prior to your stay. I was charged two weeks early and after two nights I was disturbed enough to check out and was told to contact Expedia for a refund on my third night. Expedia clarified that the hotel needed to issue any refunds, but when I contacted hotel, they simply said no. I’ve never had a hotel charge me for a night I didn’t use. Read the google reviews on this one before booking! I wish I had. Lesson learned!!

Pros: location Cons: AC not working. Minimal amenities. No complimentary water or even tissues. Some rooms don’t have TV or chairs so make sure you check the type of room. Thankfully they were able to offer a room in another nearby hotel which I appreciated.

The Ambassador is one up from a module hotel. Perfectly acceptable if you’re ok with small. The roof bar can be nice if the weather is kind. The area around Leicester Square can be intimidating and not the nicest place to walk out late at night. It’s not the Ritz, it’s not a Hilton. It’s a compact hotel in the heart of London theatre land.
