We had to cancel due to a health issue that required us to return to USA earlier that planed. Your no refund policy is unheard of and has the smell of greed!

The air con in the room didn’t work on a 34 degree day (& hot night) and no one at the property to tell!

the room was comfortable with air con. there were no tea/coffee making facilities. the hotel as easy to find and check in

Great location and clean rooms

DO NOT STAY HERE. Stay slightly farther away and walk or use transport - you will have a much more comfortable experience. The location is central, but that is honestly the only real advantage, and it does not make up for how uncomfortable the stay was. The room was EXTREMELY small. Expect nothing more than a tiny bed and a bathroom — there is essentially no usable space beyond that. We could not even properly open two medium-sized suitcases at the same time. The room felt cramped and uncomfortable from the moment we entered. The hotel photos were also misleading. The pictures showed windows that appeared to open, but in reality there was only one tiny window that did not open at all. The room felt dark, airless, and suffocating. When we spoke to reception, they told us that windows do not open in London hotels. I do not know whether that is true, but if it is, this should absolutely be stated clearly before booking. The air conditioning kept malfunctioning throughout our stay, which made the lack of ventilation even worse. The bathroom ventilation was also very poor. There was constant humidity and unpleasant smell buildup. The overall arrival and check-in experience was chaotic and uncomfortable. Check-in is done online, so there is basically no assistance at all — you are simply handed a key. Even entering the hotel was inconvenient because guests have to carry their luggage up stairs themselves. Although the hotel is centrally located, it is also constantly noisy.

Chegamos 11h e o check in era só às 15h. Cobraram 15,00 £ (libras) por mala pra guardar pra gente até a hora do check in. Achei abusivo.. 4 malas por 4 horas pra ficar no saguão foi o preço de meia diária.

Hotellet ligger dejlig centralt, og værelset er fint og rent, men der er ingen faciliteter såsom kaffe/te, ekstra puder, strygejern, toilet-kit eller lignende på værelset. Derudover tilbyder hotellet ifølge Hotels.com opbevaring af baggage, men det viste sig bagefter at være imod ekstrabetaling (15 pund pr. taske), og baggagen var ikke engang låst inde. Sikkerheden på hotellet er også tvivlsom, da hverken yderdøren eller elevatoren kræver nøgle – heller ikke om natten – og nattevagten lægger ikke mærke til, hvem der går ind og ud.

Great location, quite and clean room. Temp of about 30 and air con not effective - flashing green light in bed's eye line all night too!

地點很好，在Piccadiliy line 上，機場可以直接到Leicester Square，出站對面就到。附近搭地鐵或公車都很方便去倫敦市區景點，柯芬園和大笨鐘等知名景點步行10-15分鐘可以到。附近也有超市和中國城，吃東西選擇很多。離West end 大部分的劇場都大概十分鐘距離，晚上附近觀光客和看劇的人也多，很熱鬧。 算是市中心的精華地段，旅館本身不大，但旅館大門隨時都有人看著，人員都親切親切。有兩台電梯，室內也有空調。房型就看每個人的預算和選擇，有無窗和有窗的房型，因為入住天數長，我選擇有窗的，但價位也比較貴，但事後覺得有窗戶的選擇是對的，每天早上出門前可以看一下天氣。房型是with a little extra space ，入住後才知道房型是無障礙空間的，兩個行李箱都有空間打開，但是只有一個小床頭櫃和兩層抽屜，沒有更多的桌子或置物平台，所以很多東西都還是塞回行李箱。無障礙的廁所的淋浴是沒有另外玻璃隔出來，所以洗完澡地板就容易濕濕的。裡面提供的備品不多，2合1的沐浴洗頭乳和洗手乳，還有吹風機。因為倫敦是硬水，還是需要自己帶慣用的洗髮精和護髮乳，不然頭髮容易打結。 （浴室不知道有時候是不是馬桶管線問題，有時候會有點味道） 裡面沒有冰箱，建議可以自己帶煮水壺和杯子盤子，可以在旅館簡單泡個熱飲或是外面買麵包回來吃。 旅館的床都是一張雙人床，但床型比較小，像我和我妹住，兩個女生還好，但可能對男生來說可能就顯小。沒有電視（讓我覺得有點可惜，我出國都喜歡看當地的電視台和新聞氣象）但有網路，隔音也算好。每天工作人員都會來鋪床收垃圾，維持房間乾淨。 入住前或後寄放行李需要另外付錢（以每個行李15鎊計價），因為覺得有點貴，所以另外找附近其他相對便宜的地方寄放行李 如果是要在倫敦市中心玩，這個旅館算是不錯的選擇，交通上真的很方便。

Only booked here because I had to stay in London last minute and there were few choices. £280 for a box prison cell room in which I lay contemplating how I could have got a limousine ride home for less. However as a hotel the location is pretty decent and this would suit a lot of people when rates are lower. Having to check yourself in and out is a bit of self serve joke though, service non existent

Room very clean and basic but serviced the purpose. Could do with a kettle for that tea / coffee first thing in the morning. Location 10/10 for West End Theatres and the night life. Staff were friendly. Would defo stay again at The Assembly Hotel. Charing Cross. London

The hotel has an excellent location right in the heart of London. It’s close to Chinatown, surrounded by plenty of restaurants, and within walking distance of The National Gallery. There’s also a bus stop directly in front of the hotel, and the Underground station with a direct line to Heathrow Airport is only about a five‑minute walk away. For convenience, the location is hard to beat. The room itself was a bit small, but still reasonable for central London. The bigger issue was the room layout and organization. We had just come off a cruise, and surprisingly, the cruise cabin—despite being smaller—was far more functional. In the hotel room, there wasn’t much space to place personal items, toiletries, or even basic things like toothpaste. The design simply wasn’t very practical. The biggest problem was the bathroom lighting. The bathroom light is tied to the bedroom light, so you cannot turn on the bathroom light unless the bedroom light is also on. This setup is very inconvenient, especially at night. I’m not sure if all rooms are wired this way, but it definitely affected the comfort of the stay. Overall, the location is fantastic, but the room design and lighting setup could use significant improvement.

The location was great, very walkable area, convenient to Trafalgar Square and the Theatre District, however the accommodations were subpar. One amenity that was listed in the description was luggage storage, but it wasn't specified that we would be charged 15 Pounds per bag/backpack for just a couple of hours. We were a party of 6 with 4 rooms booked, so that added up quickly. Also, regardless whether any of the rooms were ready when we arrived, there is a 50 Pound charge for early check-in (also not listed in the description). We've traveled extensively through Europe, the US, and Central America and this is the first time we've had a hotel charge for luggage storage or early check-in. No TV in the room was a first, too, and the staff at reception was rude. Breakfast was typical for the UK and Ireland. I would not stay at this hotel in the future and instead recommend that you keep looking.

Great location. No kettle or TV. The additional £15 per bag to hold my luggage prior to check in when it was just an open, insecure side area by the elevator where anyone could've taken a bag. Their "in" vs. "out" sign for signaling room turndown was unclear. Does "in" mean we are in the room? Or does it mean come in? And same with "out", does it mean keep out? Or we're out?

Rooms were clean and tidy if a little small. More than made up for by the location which is right in the middle of the West end so perfect for theatres, restaurants, Leicester Square and Covent garden.

Overall, the stay was decent. The room was clean and the location is very good. The room/bathroom is also kinda small, not much room for more than two people.
