Our standard room was small but everything was very well planned out for space so for a weekend 2 night stay it was perfect. Very central too and less than 10 min walk to Glasgow Queen St Station. We walked to all the attractions we could fit in 2 days.

I stayed here on my own after going to the theatre. I was expecting a small budget hotel, so was fine with the size of the room and no window. The first room I had was right beside the entrance on the first floor. I asked if I could be moved as I knew I would hear everyone coming and going through the night. Staff were very accommodating abs moved me to a room a floor up and furthest from the entrance. However this room wasn’t as clean as the last room. Bedding was marked and toilet wasn’t as clean as it should’ve been. Again,

Average hotel, thought it would be a bit better for the price we paid. But also looks like the place was going through a bit of renovations. The shelves/tables had some dust - though it looked clean on initial impression.

Check in was easy. Room tiny, not worth $150 a night. If you are a fan of Ryan air. Pay as you go, then this is for you. Pay for this, pay for that. Broken fold down desk broken. Foldable chair. Coffee machine at front desk but must pay. Will avoid if possible-due to very basic and so tight in room. No place to even open suitcase. View of alley. No kettle or coffee sachets in room
